Interwiki mentalism link[edit]

Hi,

I dont' understand this: The French counterpart of Mentalism (discrimination) is now fr:Validisme whereas it should be fr:Psychophobie (which redirects to a section of fr:Validisme).

The Wikidata interface does not allow section linking, unfortunately. Redirects are automatically processed into the name of the page they redirect to, without preserving the section link. --Laber□T 16:49, 8 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
So, why not keep the more accurate (non-Wikidata) fr:Psychophobie link (perhaps in addition to the interwikis links in the Wikidata element)? Is there a rule that compels us to lose accuracy by using only Wikidata links?
I don't understand your comment on my talk page: "disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems": whether an interwiki link comes from Wikidata or not, its appearance is the same for the reader, so the "uniformity" is kept whatever type of interwiki link is used. "may cause readability or accessibility problems": I dont't get your point here either.

These are preset messages, since there was no message that really described the issue I used that one (the text written in italics describes the actual issue). I did a bit of digging and found out there is a recommendation what to do when an anchor link is desired, so you can use it. --15:31, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
