Welcome Lady250!

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Lady250, please note that the decline by The Drover's Wife notes that Goddard meets notability standards, which is the biggest hurdle to get over in getting a biography into Wikipedia. As our policy on Biographies of Living People (BLP) notes, we need to be extra careful on sourcing as inaccurate information can be harmful to reputations. The problem with your draft is that the references don't support all the claims, but that is certainly a resolvable problem. The message here is very much "article needs work but is worthwhile" rather than "no, article is not suitable." EdChem (talk) 01:39, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
