Thankyou

[edit]

Just a little note to say thankyou for participating in my successful RFA candidacy, which passed with 96 supports, 0 opposes, and 1 neutral. I am pleasantly taken aback by the amount of support for me to contribute in an administrative role and look forward to demonstrating that such faith is well placed. Good Article status

[edit]

If you were not aware, with reference to David K. Jordan, Good Article status can only currently be awarded to an article via the Good Article review process. If you want to nominate the article for GA review, please click the above link and follow the instructions on that page. Also, it might be helpful for you to read our policy on edit-warring and the three-revert rule. Removing other editor's comments from an article talk page is considered disruptive, and may result in sanctions on your account. We strongly encourage editors to discuss any issues they may have on the relevant article talk page.

If you need any pointers, the links in your welcome message above will be helpful, and you can always drop a note on my talk page. Regards, EyeSerenetalk 21:13, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
