Happy New Year (song) ‎[edit]

People want to be able to verify information on Wikipedia. So, significant edits need have their content cited using reliable sources. See verifiablity. This means that information must be published, and presumably vetted, by reliable groups and individuals. What you should do is to locate a source that supports the edit you wish to make. Then add a citation to that. Peruse wp:welcome to learn about editing Wikipedia. You can also visit the Teahouse for information and assistance. 183.171.170.156 (talk) 15:59, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

June 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Coo coo pigeon. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Happy New Year (song), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please[edit]

You used to make useful edits. Why have you turned to vandalism? -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:57, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at All by Myself, you may be blocked from editing. 183.171.169.210 (talk) 09:15, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I will say it again, DO NOT KEEP CHANGING GENRES WITHOUT CONSENSUS/EXPLANATION. Your WP:GWAR actions are concerning.183.171.169.52 (talk) 21:49, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing, or you may be blocked. I have reverted your edits at Awakening (Jackie Evancho album). -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:44, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding continued genre changing without discussion or sources. If you choose to continue, as you did at All by Myself, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - Arjayay (talk) 11:24, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

July 2014[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to I Won't Hold You Back, without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 00:44, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Light My Fire, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 00:46, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at City of New Orleans (album). Binksternet (talk) 00:50, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on I Won't Hold You Back. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 06:24, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
