I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Neil Thrasher, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Editing when you have a conflict of interest

Hi, Lana. Over the last 20 years, we have developed such a morass of policies, guidelines, and processes that it's sometimes difficult to tell where to start. Here is a very brief summary:

• You have a conflict of interest (COI). Not a negative, just a fact. See WP:COI.
• An editor with a conflict of interest should not directly edit an affected article. Instead, make specific suggestions on the article's talk page.
• Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and articles should have an encyclopedic tone. See WP:N.
• If there is an assertion in the article that is supported by a reference to what we call a "reliable source", then we will not remove it if it is relevant.
• In general, we will add information if you cite a reliable source.
• If your source contradicts another reliable source, we will present both and note the discrepancy.
• If there is an assertion that is not cited to a reliable source, it should be removed from the article. This the only case where an editor with a COI should edit the article. See WP:BLP. If it's not urgent, please make a suggestion on the article's talk page even in this situation.

You say your husband is also your client. Then you must make the required mandatory disclosure of your status as a paid editor before doing anything more on this site. This has nothing to do with your feller, and everything to do with our integrity. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:36, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
