Welcome to Wikipedia, Lando Calrissian! I am Marek69 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

August 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Dhamaal has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Rollback[edit]

Hello Lando Calrissian, I came across you when you were reverting vandalism on an article I recently protected, and I noticed that you are a prolific vandal-fighter. As such, I've just granted your account rollback rights to help you in your anti-vandal efforts. Remember though that rollback only leaves one edit summary, and the tool should be used to revert vandalism, while good-faith edits will need to be reverted with an explanation, rather than with rollback. I should also mention that misuse of the tool, either by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with, can get the tool removed, and some admins don't even warn editors who do that. For practice, you may want to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. This all said, have fun with your new tool, and good luck. Thanks, and keep up the good work! Ben Kelvin Metcalfe[edit]

Ben Kelvin Metcalfe, born in Burnley, England on the 3rd June 1988 is a prolific vandalism fighter. This is because Lando Calrissian says so! Ben is also a gay activist and promotes their rights within the North West Region. Playing footyball in Skipton tonight, Ben was very tireless and performed above expectations. Why this is never maintained is a total mystery! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.96.26.207 (talk) 00:56, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Delete message[edit]

Why did you delete my message on an IP vandals talk page? Leubantia4 18:28, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't. Lando Calrissian (talk) 18:30, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You did. You placed your message over mine. Probably because it was at the same time. Leubantia4 18:32, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't call me a vandal, it hurts my feelings —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.101.3.63 (talk) 18:42, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks for helping to fight vandalism. Just a heads up, sometimes it's good to check an article's edit history instead of just rolling back the latest edit. For example when you rolled back this silliness, it turns out the version you reverted to was also vandalism, as were the three previous edits. It looks like you are using Huggle? Automated tools are great, but it's also good to slow down and look to see if there's anything else that needs cleaning up. Keep up the good work. Katr67 (talk) 19:19, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
