MetsBot: Erroneous userbox change

Your bot recently edited my userpage in order to migrate a certain userbox as per Userbox Migration. However, it replaced the userbox in question with a completely different and irrelevant userbox: instead of Template:user its (which deals with the homophones its/it's), I now had User:Scepia:iTS (iTunes store). I assume the problem lies in your bot's case insensitivity, despite Wikipedia's page titles being case-sensitive.

I would appreciate if you could correct this. Thank you, Laogeodritt [ Talk | Contribs ] 16:07, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

My apologies; I will correct this so it does not happen on future bot runs. —Mets501 (talk) 16:11, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject France

Hello! We are a group of editors working to improve the quality of France related articles. You look like someone who might be interested in joining us in the France WikiProject and so I thought I'd drop you a line and invite you! We'd love to have you in our project :-) STTW (talk) 21:55, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

The block on that user id

I believe the issue with the block is best summed up on the original French Wikipedia at fr:User talk:207.253.115.51. Note, the children who edited were persistant and ongoing in their abuse of the Wikipedia project, not only here at the English wikipedia but throughout other languages. Note, my significant other is French Canadian by birth, and I had no trouble understanding the foul language that was present at La Terre, between the anonymous account and a user account with whom the anon was having a conversation, as evidenced by the edits found here. If you locate determine the children responsible for abusing the projects (note: they don't seem to like an individual named "Simon"), and prevent them from engaging in defacing the Wikipedia projects again (including the French language project) then by all means, we'll be happy to lift the block. If you would like to discuss this on IRC, I'm available on the wikimedia-stewards channel at [1] Bastiqe demandez 18:31, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

My IP

Instead of manually listing your server's IP address at User:10nitro/IP, why not just use a service like DynDNS? — A fellow Comic JK reader, Laogeodritt [ Talk | Contribs ] 06:16, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

I've done that now, http://lukeshu.ath.cx/comicjk [edit]actually, I did it on the 15, and posted a message on Comic Jk, but who knows for how long that stuck around? (well, I do, thanks to the archives... that's not the point.) [/edit] ~ 10nitro (talk) 03:58, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1805, Cuirassiers Before the Charge, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chantilly (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:40, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
