Hi, I'm Lars Johnson. This user is gay. This user is minor attracted. This user was banned for being minor attracted. Why does Wikipedia tolerate bigotry? --LarsJohnson93 (talk) 17:46, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As mentioned below by two admins, Wikipedia has a policy of child safety which your userpage and userbox violated. This is not just a site policy, this is a legal policy, and any breaches of it are taken very seriously. We are not bigots, nor are we homophobes, but we protect our editors, especially our younger ones. If you continue to criticize us for protecting our editors, and advocating for being 'minor attracted', you will have your talk page access revoked. Giraffer munch 18:12, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This is crazy. I just started setting up my account and I am here to work on Wikipedia. I have already contributed a flag to Wikimedia Commons and a redirect to the V280 article.

Decline reason:

Your edits have been inconsistent with the Wikipedia policy on child protection. Kevin (aka L235 · t · c) 17:22, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Sad to see Wikipedia still supports this kind of bigotry. The whole reason I made the user box was to promote solidarity and tolerance. Someday you will change your ways. LarsJohnson93 (talk) 17:24, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • (edit conflict) Good block by JzG, and upholding by L235. I saw this account last night when I was very tired. Administrators can see their userpage, the userbox they created, and its talk page. Here they claim to have created the "MAP pride flag", but it was actually created years ago by anti-LGBT trolls. On that note, administrators should see their other userboxes and what community they claimed to be part of on their userbox's talk page. Given this account's familiarity with userboxes, I believe it to be a sockpuppet of a blocked user, possibly Zezen, who also posted at Talk:Minor-attracted person, an obscure DAB page. A tag has been placed on User:UBX/map requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Disgusting, inappropriate, user has been indeffed for WP:NOTHERE, doesn't belong on Wikipedia in the slightest.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
