File copyright problem with File:CCN1_Staining.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:CCN1_Staining.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 01:41, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Help request[edit]

Hi, what can we do so that when people type the search term "CCN1", they will have a choice to be directed to ether the "CYR61" page, or "cyclin A2" page?Laulab (talk) 21:03, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've turned CCN1 into a disambiguation page—feel free to edit it if I got anything wrong. DoriTalkContribs 22:25, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
We do not think "cyclin A2" should be linked to the search term "CCN1". People in the research field refer to cyclin a2 either by its gene symbol "CCNA2" or its name. Calling cyclin a2 as CCN1 merely causes confusion. What is Wikipedia's policy to disconnect "cyclin A2" from "CCN1"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Laulab (talkcontribs) 14:17, 11 July 2012‎
CCN1 has linked to Cyclin A2 since 2007, and CCN1 is listed under Identifiers/Symbols in Cyclin A2's infobox. I suggest discussing this at Talk:Cyclin A2 or with the Molecular and Cellular Biology WikiProject. DoriTalkContribs 21:58, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Citation suggestion[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to the CTGF article. If you haven't seen this yet, please check out User:Diberri's Wikipedia template filling tool (instructions). Given a PubMed ID, one can quickly produce a full citation that can be copied and pasted into a Wikipedia article. This tool can save you a lot of work and ensure that the citations are displayed in a consistent manner. Cheers. Boghog (talk) 14:50, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 25[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited WNT1-inducible-signaling pathway protein 2, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CCN (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:45, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
