Unfortunately, if there is no independent reliable source that supports the claims, then they can't go in the article. If you want to preserve the memory of the school, I would suggest creating a web page for it. This is probably preferable since you would have complete control of what's added and removed. There are lots of free web hosts where you can do this, such as Wordpress or Google Sites.
