Jeremy Cloward

[edit]

Hello Laurie,

First of all, welcome to Wikipedia!

Now, regarding your recent article submission: while I was not the one to delete it, I reviewed it and while it made a good effort to assert notability, the assertions were not valid, given that the information about him—as well as his works— were self-published. Therefore, the article does not meet our requirement that articles be sourced from verifiable, third-party sources about the article subject. However, the article was otherwise well-written and I hope you continue contributing to Wikipedia. If you have any other questions, please let me know on my talk page. Re: Regarding the article, "Jeremy Cloward"

[edit]

Right now, you must be feeling pretty flustered by the deletion of the article Jeremy Cloward. I am too, because I reviewed you article and I'm pretty sure it had assertions of notability. Obviously, it did not. So, I'm going to ask a passing administrator to userfy the deleted content to my userspace, so I can take a better look at it. After I'm finished, if I think the article can be made better with added material, I'll move it to your userspace. To make sure something like this doesn't happen again, I highly suggest you submit the page to Articles for Creation when you are done. Thanks! Hey Laurie!

The deleted content of Jeremy Cloward has been moved into your userspace. You can find it at User:Lauriemason/Jeremy Cloward When you are finished working on it, please submit it to Wikipedia:Articles for Creation via the usual process. That way, experienced editors can review it further for any notability issues, to make sure something like this doesn't happen again. In particular, I want you to read Wikipedia:Notability (people) and there is a section entitled "Politicians", make sure that you include evidence that it meets those criteria. Thank you.
