Revert on carnivorous plant

Hi

This is a recent endemic specie (2003)

Rivadavia F (2003). [http:// http://www.carnivorousplants.org/cpn/Species/v32n3p79_92.html "Four New Species of Sundews, Drosera (Droseraceae), from Brazil"] (HTML). Carnivorous Plant Newsletter. 32 (3): 79–92. {{cite journal}}: Check |url= value (help); line feed character in |title= at position 38 (help)

I would include this... but ok, ty

I'm tired of wiki

Hi, @Lauro Sirgado:. Just to be clear, I reverted the edit because MOS:IMAGELOCATION suggests we avoid sandwiching the text of the article between two elements like the video and the image you added. Additionally, the article carnivorous plant is already well-illustrated. I will add your image to List of Drosera species. We don't yet have an article on Drosera tentaculata but we should! And your image would fit quite well there. Why not take the time to write the article on the species? Cheers, Rkitko (talk) 13:42, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The reasons do not seem strong (sry my opinion).
Only stub are open for editions? I stop my editions.
Do not want to get into edit wars and Manors.
leave for others
thank you

Remove redundant image (Rkitko)

Hi, Rkitko

Not is a redundant figure, the figure illustrates one of the substrates of the the species occurring, such as the note explains:

Drosera tentaculata in bare sandstone surface, Drosera species from Brazil

refer: " Drosera tentaculata occurs in “campo rupestre” vegetation, usually in areas that suffer intense desiccation during the dry season, which is when flowering usually occurs (July to October). It is found predominantly among sparse grasses in fine white sand mixed with white quartz gravel, or in sand mixed with black humus, or even on bare sandstone surfaces."

cited text of:

Carnivorous Plant Newsletter Volume 32, Number 3, September 2003, pages 79-92 - Four New Species of Sundews, Drosera (Droseraceae), from Brazil

Again an exclusion which I do not agree, is this necessary?

I am very tired of the wiki, unfortunately

thank you

@Lauro Sirgado: - It appears to be the same image that is in the taxobox just without the close image crop. It doesn't appear to add any information not already seen in the other image already present on the article. Wikipedia is not a repository of images and since there's so little text in this article, we can instead link to a Wikimedia Commons category that contains more images for people to browse. I will add the link. Cheers, Rkitko (talk) 21:30, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Rkitko
Seems to me that the context of the image is correct
and that the above information is relevant to the wiki...
and its users

I quit my edits?
This is acceptable to the wiki?

Lauro Sirgado (talk) 13:11, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hello Lauro. There are many rules and policies that govern what is and what is not acceptable in articles. I've posted a basic welcome template at the top of this page with some useful links to various things you will need to know to make acceptable edits on Wikipedia. I surely would encourage you to not give up; you are apparently a good faith editor, and that is the first part of being a successful volunteer editor on the English Wikipedia. :) — {{U|Technical 13}} (etc) 16:30, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
