LAVAN

Lavan Shanilka Edirisinghe (born ; March 15, 1992) better known as LAVAN, is an Sri Lankan Music/DJ Producer and Sound Engineer. On June 9, 2014, he stepped into international music by collaborating with Aurosonic (Russian Trance Duo Artists) and Lavan has incorporated or experimented with styles of Enigmatic, Ambient, Orchestral, Celtic, and Cultural music.later His debut album "Dreams of Mandarin" was released on August 22, 2016.

Early Life

Lavan was born on March 15, 1992 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He claims to have had a connection to music from a very young age. His musical influences include Linkin Park, Radiohead, Maroon 5, Iron & Wine, and Death Cab for CutieAt the age of 16, Lavan began composing simple tracks using his keyboard and FL Studio and attempting songwriting,and he joined a number of bands experimenting with genres of Acoustic and Rock, though he grew weary with the format. He then decided to focus on solo composition and began producing in 2012.
