Notice

The article Roger A. Weir has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Can't find enough in-depth coverage to show that they meet WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I restored the {{old prod}} template you removed, then "filled it in" so that it is more informative. This template alerts editors that the corresponding article is no longer eligible to be deleted through the proposed deletion process, and that the articles for deletion process should be used instead. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 02:41, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! I wasn't quite sure of the process so I'm very thankful for your attention and assistance. Lavenderearlgrey (talk) 02:53, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Don't be surprised if Onel5969 or another editor nominates it for deletion through the WP:Articles for deletion process. You might want to read WP:Deletion, WP:Notability, WP:Reliable sources, WP:Independent sources, and WP:Citing sources. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 02:58, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks again. I'm anticipating such action. I believe I have profusely cited/sourced the content on the article. Do you have any particular advice for dealing with some of the issues raised by One15969? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lavenderearlgrey (talkcontribs) 03:13, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have time to look at it now, perhaps you can ask Onel5969 on Talk:Roger A. Weir. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 03:18, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Bodhi Tree Bookstore[edit]

Hi :) Congratulations on what looks like your first article, Bodhi Tree Bookstore — a massive effort (quite literally, almost 60K bytes in one go)! I've added a few maintenance tags to the article, with comments suggesting how I think the article could be improved, hope that's okay. I've also included some of the meta info (a couple of initial categories, short description, ratings). One issue I didn't tag is possible COI: I see you've declared your interest in Roger Weir. Given that he is mentioned in this article, you should probably also make a similar declaration about this subject, too. HTH, --DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:37, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - It's been a long work in progress – thanks to the sandbox ;) – I'm eager to review your recommendations for structure and improvements. I am still in the process of fine tuning citations and stylistics (and possible structural adjustments). Thanks again!! -- Lavenderearlgrey (talk) 07:48, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Stephen Sondheim Insprational Teacher Awards requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.  // Timothy :: talk  06:58, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
