Hi Lavery, (welcome to Wikipedia!) I'd love some help working on the Ernest Hemingway articles. There are lots of places that need help. The main article needs work finding citations. It used to be that people could just write whatever, but in the past couple of years, the Wiki has really started pushing hard for references. So, the main article on Ernest Hemingway needs citations added, so a reader knows where to look for further information. An example of an article that's really well cited is J. D. Salinger.

The pages on Hemingway's works have the same problem. There's information, but little of it is cited to good sources. (Some of it's cited to Cliff Notes which isn't very encyclopedic!) Also, the articles are always in need of proofreading. They get written sentence-by-sentence over the years, and by the end of all those different authors sometimes things end up pretty garbled.

I hope you like it here and decide to stay. When I first started contributing to Wikipedia it was a little overwhelming, but I've grown to like it quite a bit. If you ever need help with anything, or have any further questions about where to go with Hemingway, let me know! --JayHenry (talk) 08:51, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
