Request reason:

no reason to block me was given, nor can I see one. what I said was accurate. no explanation for the block was given. I remarked on the fact that NZ legislation, unlike for example the cognate English legislation, does not provide that agreements on confidentiality are void if they purport to conceal criminal offences. This is an active invitation to corruption and its concealment which urgently needs changing in New Zealand. It currently means that persons practising corruption in large organisations can use the funds of those organisations to procure the silence of those under them, including when what they are covering up is financial abuse, bullying and violence. I am a practising NZ lawyer and have files on this. It is an aspect of NZ legislation that needs to be changed. I also pointed out that it is extremely easy to hide the proceeds of financial fraud by taking it out of the country via a shell company, largely because NZ has a very efficient system of creating companies and very little anti-money-laundering enforcement. It is unreasonable to censor these points, which are important.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
  1. understand what you have been blocked for,
  2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
  3. will make useful contributions instead.
