Written vernacular Chinese feedback[edit]

Hi @Lda1e7, @Shuang Wen, @Andy Niedermeier, @Spet9257, @Alvin mzm:

I took a look at your draft, and have some feedback to improve your work for mainspace. Thanks for making it so easy to ready your draft and where the text will be integrated into the existing article.

Background History section: The writing style in that contribution can be more precise? less persuasive? I think focus more on editing in a neutral, fact based writing style, like "By the 20th century, political activists and supporters attempted to ... " rather than using the would be, would allow - just write what happened. Makes it easier for readers.

Inline citations: Really good use of inline citations. Almost every sentence had a citation. I added some tags to the ones that didn't. Just be sure to go back and add them in.

Moving work to mainspace: Once you've improved your draft, since it is a group effort, I recommend each editor add their own text contribution to the existing Written vernacular Chinese article, so that each editor receives proper credit for their work. Remember to copy over work in small chunks. Look over the training modules on adding to an existing article for a refresher on the steps to do this correctly. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions on my feedback or about editing. Well done! Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:24, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
