Hi and welcome to wikipedia! Thanks for your message on my talk page. The Sheffield wikiproject is a fairly new creation--the idea is to give editors working on Sheffield-related articles a single central forum to discuss the articles. If you intend to work on Sheffield-related articles then by all means join the project--you will be most welcome. You say that you have an interest in the local railways--User:Captain scarlet and I have just had a bit of a spurt on the railway articles, so maybe you can help with these. JeremyA and I share many interests, one of which is railways in Sheffield. You will find articles on stations, closed stations, lines and companies that have operated or still operate in Sheffield. I have for many years travelled throughout Sheffield to collect photos of places in Sheffield, including railway related structures and buildings so even if an article isn't written yet, the odds are, there's a photo of it not far.
