I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Tin Can Cathedral

[edit]

Hello LeeGer, I have made some additions to this article since you left a message in September. I am looking for some help with a Dutch translation of it. Would you consider it? About a quarter of the article has been translated by a Dutch Wikipedia editor. You can take a look at it in my: Gebruiker:Nicola Mitchell/Kladblok. If you help with a translation, you can modify the article to respond to the questions you posed in Sept., and I might be able to put some of these responses into the original English Wikipedia article. I have done just that with other language translations. Also, I'll try to be helpful along the way. Nicola Mitchell (talk) 03:00, 31 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No, I will not consider translating it. First of all, I know nothing about a tin can cathedral. I don't know if a tin can cathedral ever existed. Second, the article which is called "Tin Can Cathedral" doesn't tell me anything about a tin can cathedral. So, the article is unsuitable for Wikipedia. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a story book. When you write an article called "Tin Can Cathedral", it should be primarily about exactly that cathedral. You don't write an article about that cathedral? Then don't use that title. On Wikipedia titles of articles should cover the subject of the article. LeeGer (talk) 11:53, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The page should be deleted. I am not smart enough to implement the procedure, but lack of Talk page supports my point.Xx236 (talk) 06:31, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's called a stub I believe in English Wikipedia. It's a start. Reason to improve? Yes. No reason to delete. I would do it myself if I had the time. LeeGer (talk) 09:53, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
