Speedy deletion of Pendulum (Swing/jazz group)[edit]

Someone seems to feel threatened by the innocent posting of information on the well-known group. If some admin or other person persists in efforts to delete the page, that will simply demonstrate that Wikipedia is, as some pundits have suggested, completely irrelevant to the real world. Too bad, 'cause it seems like such a good idea.

Please also look at the reply I have put on my user page concerning your comments. You are not being victimised, in fact I have gone out of my way to give you another chance to improve your article! You just need to learn to write good encyclopaedia articles in the Wikipedia house style. If you do that, and if the band really is notable, then it will not be deleted. Of course, if the band is not notable then nothing can save the article. Please do not take it personally if this turns out to be the case. --DanielRigal (talk) 20:42, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please note that the article has been speedy deleted by me as a copyright violation of this. That page does not say it is public domain or released under GFDL, as required for it to be used by Wikipedia. It was also non-encyclopaedic, advertising/vanity, and had not independent evidence of notability jimfbleak (talk) 14:54, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
