Arbitration

  • A motion was passed to enact a 500/30 restriction on articles related to the history of Jews and antisemitism in Poland during World War II (1933–45), including the Holocaust in Poland. Article talk pages where disruption occurs may also be managed with the stated restriction.

Dashboard bot

Hello, would it be possible to disable your bot from updating Wikipedia:Dashboard? There is now a better solution using lua available, but it can't be implemented because the bot writes over it. The relevant discussion is at Wikipedia talk:Dashboard#Bot section?. Thanks! --Trialpears (talk) 22:21, 16 June 2020 (UTC)

Legobot Questions

I'm so happy you are back and willing to answer some questions about Legobot! This could help quite a bit.

And, thank you for creating it.

When you said: All of the Legobot source code is public and appropriately licensed as free software. What exactly are you looking for?... I have these questions:

  1. Can you point us to the exact version of the code that was last running?
  2. Can you point us to the exact version of the code that worked the best or worked for the longest?
  3. Do you have any idea why the bot stopped doing RfC notifications correctly?
  4. If you are unable to maintain the Legobot code, can you help Naypta (or any willing editor) take over that job?
  5. Only if you have time (low priority), can you look at the discussion(s) at User talk:Yapperbot?

My concern is only with the WP:FRS notification of RfCs. Others might be interested in the other notifications. --David Tornheim (talk) 09:26, 18 June 2020 (UTC)

Just as a note, I'm more than happy to help maintain Legobot if Legoktm wants help with it, but I definitely don't want Lego to be pressured into doing that if they don't want to! As far as I'm aware, the only part that's had any issues (so far) is the FRS part, which obviously I've taken over fully now anyway. Naypta ☺ | ✉ talk page | 09:39, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
