Yes, it needs to go to GA first, after the Peer review is closed. Jivesh, take time with the article, don't rush to it. These things really take a lot of time, and when you go to FAC, think that the nomination is going to fail. That way, your moral is not hurt. There will be many harsh remarks in FAC and you have to abide by all, keeping a cool head, I suggest you raed some of the ongoing FACs to understand what kind of comments are posted by the reviewers. — Legolas ^(talk2me) 12:19, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

Bionic GA Review

Hey. I've fixed up most of the things in the article. I don't understand a few parts, so it'd be great if you could explain them to me. I am still new so. ;)

REgretfully, Ending-start you have to give the article a whole brush-up in terms of formatting of the references. I noticed many of them not using the {{cite web}} or {{cite news}} template. This is of utmost importance as if a linkrot happens, H3LBot won't be able to update or tag that link. And you will never know how to replace the link.
A number of online sources are italiacized, and vice-versa. Be careful while formatting as to what you put in the work and publisher parameters.
No mention of language in references from non-English speaking nations and bolding of reference titles are not allowed.
Work names like Nypost.com, Popwatch.ew.com, Artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com are absolutely unacceptable.

They are exactly what they say. You have to use the {{cite web}} or {{cite news}} template for the references. Online sources like MTV, BBC etc cannot be italicized in the final reference. For non-English references you have to add a "language=name" parameter. Nypost.com, popwatch.ew.com etc are not the real reference names. They should be replaced with Entertainment Weekly, The New York Times etc. You should ask any of your known collaboraters here to give it a brush through. I think the main problem emerged from the fact that none of the previous reviews, both in your's and Nathan's, had failed to point out the obvious prose errors, which later editors found. I couldnot comment at AIWFCIY, since I copy-edited it, I commented on them at Halo. I think both got hurt by those supports, which did not give any critical commentary, but simply supported. Ya, problem this time was actually the quality of the reviewers. If I am honest, ya those first few reviews were actually scary. All of them had good faith, but then the impartiality was seriously hampered by their association with the AIWFCIY page. That's why I recussed myself absolutely from the page, and it was only due to Adabow's request that I added the chord progression. If I had to review the nom, I wanted to be as far away as the article to give an impartial nomination. Did you see that Sandy did not tag my comments at the Halo FAC, although I am in both the projects? Because I had recused myself completely from Halo, before I started the comments, hence was able to give an impartial view. Hey i know you are very busy but still you could be a bit more welcoming. What do you mean by not done? I know you told me to add format=PDF, but it is not working. The same thing is happening in Lady GAGa discography. And i tried to make minimum use of acharts. I replaced several links but i do not know from where i can source the chart performance in Germany, Netherlands and Ireland. Anyway the MegaCharts on Hung Mediven is not the same as Dutch Top 40. If I Were A Boy peaked at number one on Dutch top 40 but at number 2 on MegaCharts. And I have told you that I will add my research only after I get time. Next, by not done, I of course mean that the formatting of the references is still not done correctly. I still see many of the online sources remaining as italicized, there are reference titles which are bolded. As for acharts.us, every one of them are replaceable. Please consult WP:GOODCHARTS, they give you which ones are the good charts for a particular country. If you are having problem with any particular link, why aren't you posting it on the review page I don't understand? If you are commenting that the changes I mentioned are {{done}}, then you have to make sure that they are actually done. I donot endorse adding comments that something is done, when in reality it has not been. Please don't take it personal, but I am strict about the MoS and references+prose. Yes, because there are only 14 "custom award" parameters on Template:Infobox musician awards. I didn't use the other default parameters because it would not be alphabetically as the "custom award" always placed at the bottom. I gonna make own template for Madonna, so we can arrange it, and also update it "easily" when we add or delete an award show (like you have done, hahaha). But I cannot do it now, maybe in the next few days, because there's problem with the internet connection on my room. Hey Legolas, so for the past 2 days the user Jivesh boodhun has been asking me to rewrite the Cultural Impact of Single Ladies, I've seen he has talked to you about the article. I don't completely understand what he wants me to do. Is there a particular aspect that needs work? Does it just need a copy-edit to make it flow and more grammatically correct? Or does it need to be entirely re-written? I know this is kind of off topic but I see your a fan of Gaga as am I.....Did you know she announced that she is going to release her entire album in two months? Succession boxes for #1 songs and albums

I was hoping to get your opinion and maybe you can comment at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (record charts)#Request for comment: Use of succession boxes in an WP:RFC regarding this issue. While, it doesn't seem to make a difference whether they are there or not for an article to be upgraded to GA, I'm surprised ones with succession boxes do pass what with their links to unrelated songs and length of runs that aren't sourced, in addition to possible WP:NPOV concerns by highlighting its #1 position(s) in this manner. I was looking at the article for If I Were a Boy, and don't you think there is a multitude of problems with the info presented in the succession boxes. It would require sourcing each one of the preceding and succeeding songs and the complete and full length of its stay at number one. Plus there's a Portugal chart that's not sourced at all. And the length of stay at #1 on Australian Urban: does that mean 1 week or 2 weeks? Not to mention, some "runs" are split and others are combined. I hope you consider these in your review. Yeah I used the plainrow headers CSS to make the tables accessible (its the new approved one for WP:DISCOGSTYLE). Would it be badly opposed even though the only inconvenience for fully sighted readers is that the first column appears in a darker shade of grey. If it is I can undo them (with a lot of work). Hi Legolas. Thank you for the explanation. Actually, the lead was very good before, i mean to say it covered the whole article but the first peer reviewer told me the lead was too long and that it does not need to contain all that information. I know you are right since Single Ladies is not the first article on which i am working. On my other GAs i wrote very good intros but this article is too bulky. No, that was worse actually. Nobody is saying that the present lead is bad, rather that it doesnot flow well.
