Harry Birthday
Hi Legolas, I hope you have a wonderful birthday. Oh and, again, thank you for all your work on Wikipedia.--Raphael99 (talk) 18:40, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks Raphael. — Legolas (talk2me) 06:20, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
Happy Birthday
Thought I'd say Happy B'day!! Loving the "Like a Prayer" article by the way. Cannot wait to see the rest of the Like a Prayer album. Hope you had (are having) a great day :)

- I'm cracking on with it, getting onto the composition section now :)

You've edited a bit in the film industry, right? Does home viewing release history need to be as comprehensive as what many song/album articles feature? There is an EzyDVD saying that Obsessed was released on 8 Sep 2009 in Australia, but every other source says 9 Sep. I'm leaning towards adding 9 Sep as a mistake on the part of EzyDVD, but what do you think? —Adabow (talk · contribs) 05:54, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
- In the film articles, I have seen many cases where they add multiple dates in the infobox. The timezone must have made teh release of Obsessed on 8 Sep in Oz, so there you go. You can actually include both dates. But then again, how reliable is EzyDVD? — Legolas (talk2me) 05:57, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
- Nah, the DVD was released in August in the US, so the 8/9 Sep only applies to Australia. EzyDVD... well they are a retailer, so I suppose they're reliable enough. But I think that the large number of contradicting sources overrides that, so 9 Sep it is. If anyone has beef with the date they can take it to the talk :P. Thanks —Adabow (talk · contribs) 06:03, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

Review of article
Hi, I was adviced by -♫Greatorangepumpkin♫ that you might could review the CCP discography to pass Wikipedia:Featured list candidates. I believe I've done my best, spoke also with one of her producers Delgado, obtained demos of her unreleased songsm and it obviuosly is the only complete discography of CCP releases. Thank you. Uzerakount (talk) 17:46, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
- I will comment there later somtime. At first glance there are extreme issues. — Legolas (talk2me) 03:54, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for your time. I will make changes per your notes. Though, I'm just deciding if I want to proceed with the feature list nomination. Thank you (m)anyway (and b-lated happy b-date). Uzerakount (talk) 18:39, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

A very happy birthday to you my friend. I am not very good at writing birthday wishes. All i can say is that i wish you a part of everything that is good in life because you deserve it. Jivesh • Talk2Me 13:38, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

Lay It On Me
Hi Lego, Long time no see. How goes the recovery? Could you please check what position "Lay It On Me" has reached on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart? Also is it possible to webcite archive the page? — Lil_℧niquℇ №1 [talk] 21:24, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
- Its going on. "Lay It On Me" I assume you meant Kelly's song? It reached #10 and this was its debut peak on the chart dated July 23, 2011. No you cant webarchive them since they are secured links, and if you archive also it will give you just the login page. (I tried already). — Legolas (talk2me) 05:36, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Does Billboard publish the Bubbling unders for a week before locking them? If so, we could archive them then... —Andrewstalk 06:01, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Not actually. That happened because Billboard had opened their archives for 3 days, that's why they were available. — Legolas (talk2me) 06:24, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

When you get a change please revert this; ive hit 3RR. Addition is WP:OR and WP:SYNTH; nowhere does it state this is part of her tour shes just performing there. Also conflicts with sources that says when the tour ends. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 03:48, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

- Actually Im bored by music at present. Nothing good is on the charts, waiting for Madonna tbh. — Legolas (talk2me) 05:46, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
- Rowland's new album is actually amazing, other than that i agree with that statement i havnt bought a song in months. Pop is my genre, but im bored with top 40 right now, time for some new music =/ Wonder what Madonna is going to sound like, i have a funny feeling shes gunna hop on the electro-train. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 05:50, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
- I actually haven't heard Rowland's album in its entirety, but the singles released so far are good. As you must be noticing, Electro-R&B is on its way out, pure electro is on the rise. As for Madonna, I want her to do something new. I heard she's doing some jungle-vibe music with Martin Solveig. I think the last song I bought was "Set Fire to the Rain". The rest of Adele's album is pretty boring like her *shade* — Legolas (talk2me) 05:53, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

- R&B actually went out before that, towards middle of 2008, right around "Disturbia" and the others. Good actually you know, song genres should get circulated all the time. This electro-dance will also go out, and I predict a rise up of rock, its evident from the songs that are coming. — Legolas (talk2me) 06:02, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Darke page
Hi Legolas2186,
I'm a bit confused about the message you sent me -- the other 5 books have their own synopses, why do you feel Darke shouldn't have one? My source for the synopsis is the obviously the book itself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Scottcal (talk • contribs) 16:44, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Because the other five books have established their notability by their reception, reviews and impact through reliable sources, which Darke still doesn't have. The book has only been released in one territory, and I believe that reliability and notability would not be established until its released in all nations. And please sign your posts the next time. — Legolas (talk2me) 16:47, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- According to [1], a paperback version was published in many Commonwealth countries on June 6th. I'm in Canada, and the hardcover version is available here as well. It doesn't seem that a book should need to be published in every country before a determination can be made on its notability. Given the popularity of the series, it would also seem surprising that book 6 would be significantly less notable than the preceding books. In general, establishing notability for a children's book seems a bit tricky, but the Septimus Heap page states that "The books have appeared on national bestsellers lists and received worldwide critical acclaim; Warner Bros. acquired the rights to produce a movie based on the first book." To me, that seems sufficient to argue that a new book in the series is notable. I apologize for not signing my post; it was the first time I've posted. Scottcal (talk) 17:10, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Septimusheap.wordpress.com has been deemed grossly unreliable and a fansite, which is not considered a reliable source in Wikipedia. And notations in the Septimus Heap book is not notable and verifiable. We need to have third-party independent notability which this book fails at present. — Legolas (talk2me) 05:31, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
- What do you consider "third-party independent notability"? Looking over the references for Syren (which I assume meets the third-party independent notability standard), I see that it contains references from the publisher, kidsreads.com, goodreads, and a few reviews. These are all available for Darke as well -- publisher, kidsreads, goodreads, and review 1, review 2. In terms of broad publication, you still haven't explained why publication in an arbitrary number of countries is necessary for notability. Even if that is the case, a quick perusal of amazon.co.uk, allenandunwin.com, fantasticfiction.co.uk, and wantitall.co.za shows that the book is easily purchasable in countries outside of the US and Canada. You'll notice with the allenandunwin.com and fantasticfiction.co.uk links that the publisher is listed as "Bloomsbury" with a publication date of June 2011 (the paperback version on fantasticfiction), indicating that this isn't just a copy of the US version (which is published by Harper Collins), but a separate release. Given these references, it looks like Darke meets the same standards as Syren and therefore deserves a page. Scottcal (talk) 16:18, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
- If reviews are available you shouldn't have problem in establishing notability right? As I recall, you added a summary of the story only to the page, which fails WP:N. Hence it has been redirected. You would benefit from developing it in your sandbox, and then moving it after it passes WP:N. — Legolas (talk2me) 16:37, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
- Oh, ok. Sorry -- I was still developing the page and saved intermediate content, but I see how that's a bad plan. I'll develop it in my sandbox before pushing it live. Scottcal (talk) 18:05, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

- A restructure logically. Things like the controversy section, which is purely associated with Sivaji and hence a part of her career, should be merged in the appropriate section of the bio, not give it undue importance. Remember, controversy sections are always to be dealt carefully, we do not report something as controversy, we report in the passive and neutral tone what happened. If you ask me, I never-ever have the name controversy in any section title. Its also missing an influence section. As to who inspired Saran to be an actress, who's work is mostly attuned to her, who was her role-model etc. Its an important part of bio. Overall I feel its good and minor prose issues I'm sure the GA reviewer will point out. This is so much better than the Aishwarya Rai article. — Legolas (talk2me) 13:22, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Comment to Bollyjeff: It's good to avoid sections like "Criticism" and "Controversy" in BLPs, as pointed out by Legolas.
- Comment to Legolas Other than the reference formatting what's bad about Aish's article. It's very comprehensive than Shriya Saran's I guess. --Commander (Ping Me) 14:26, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Lol, content wise it lacks a lot. It was only that day I was browsing through Landmark in the film and music related books and on fashion, where I found many reliable content and critical assessment of Rai's career, looks, acting, her influences etc. Rai already has left a legacy in Bollywood cinema by being its most popular face ever, so content wise Rai's article is poor compared to Saran's article, which by virtue of being a newbie actress, is well-organized and comprehensive. I will totally revamp Rai's article sometime in future. Lastly, remember that books from reliable publications and authors are much more important for content addition than just random website links. — Legolas (talk2me) 14:31, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

I just wanted to say thank you for your input at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of songs in Rock Band 3/archive1, which has now passed. The list is now much better than it was at the start of the FLC, and your input helped make it as good as it is now! –Drilnoth (T/C) 14:54, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

VMAs - I am disappointed
Hi Legolas. I do not know if i am the only one here thinking this way but does Adele merit all those nominations in a video awards ceremony. I think she is becoming a bit overrated. Her songs are great. I will have no complaints if she gets many nominations for the Grammys but how can she get nominated so many times by just sitting in a video? RTW did not even get nominated for Video of the Year? And where is GaGa? She is the one making the most beautiful videos. Jivesh • Talk2Me 08:57, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- I know, MTV fucked up this year again. I kinda agree with one twitter user who tweeted to MTv, "Hey I'm sitting on my toilet seat for 4 minutes, can I get a nomination for VOTY at next year's VMA?" — Legolas (talk2me) 09:12, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Can you explain it to me? Please. Jivesh • Talk2Me 09:25, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- The user meant that if Adele can get nominated for 4.5 minutes sitting her ass in the video, surrounded by vibrating cups, then he can also get nominated by sitting on his toilet seat for 4.5 minutes. Talk about quality, this year wasn't that much on quality, but then I don't understand how Rihanna got snubbed so bad. — Legolas (talk2me) 09:27, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

- That's so funny but he did not write anything wrong. I totally agree with him. And what? Pitbull got nominated? OMG, where are the MTVs heading? And lol at the explanation you gave me about Adele's video. You really make me laugh form time to time. And seriously, Rihanna should have got a nomination for WMN. - I agree. I will have no issues when RITD is nominated for Record and/or Song of the Year, but Video of the Year? Really? I like her and all (and disagree with "Adelephant"), but honestly... And "Till the World Ends" for Best Choreography? Urrgh. I think it's funny that Rihanna got nothing, I've kinda hated her since she pulled out rank shit themes. CKB is her best video from Loud. ANd I fucking hate Pitbull. I'm pleased Nicki got heaps of nomnoms though. —Andrewstalk 09:35, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Ri-ri must have done something at Viacom because they did not play her videos that much also. "Man Down" was almost snubbed. I can't at Pitbull though. And I'm sorry but Adele is kinda annoying me right now. Initially I warmed up to her songs in 21, but its plain "midwife yapping about losing hump" to me now. Boys dump girls who are fat. #UniversallyKnownTrueFacts. — Legolas (talk2me) 09:38, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Guys please be serious. Do you really think that Adele's vocals are great. I mean they are good but not that good. Jivesh • Talk2Me 09:43, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Depends on what vocals you like. I personally like Adele's "vocals" because I love voices which are fuller and can reach high notes without faltering that much and losing it (like Mariah, sorry Nathan), and I love voices which are not purely classical, and has coarseness in it, which I find in hers. — Legolas (talk2me) 09:45, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- I hate her vocals on RITD. There's nothing great about that. Her vocals on SLY definitely merits some praises. For me, Mariah Carey is much better. At least, she can try a variety of songs. She can go hip hop, pop, R&B. You know what i am trying to say (As you know i am not that good at putting in words what i want to say especially in English. Lol.) - OK then... Oh, I was considering getting 21, but maybe I'll get Pink Friday or I Am... World Tour (or a bargain bin discount lol). I like Adele's voice, and I don't think she's fat or ugly. I think Americans have set a standard that all pop stars must be skinny (like, really skinny) and blonde. I really can't believe that RITD is still holding up in the Hot 100. And even "E.T." hasn't fallen that much! BTW, do y'all know how "Party" samples "La Di Da Di"? I've played it over and over and I can't see any similarities...? —Andrewstalk 09:57, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

- *randomly inserts self into conversation* I'm glad I'm not the only disappointed/surprised by this year's noms. I was expecting Gaga to sweep the ceremony =/. But then again, keep in mind, this is MTV-related. At their movie 'awards' the newest Twilight film won best picture over The Social Network, Black Swan and Inception. As of late, their standards haven't been that high. I'm a fan of Adele, but I really think her nom has to do solely with her sudden rise in fame (i.e. popularity/fanbase vs quality). After last year's ceremony (Handler was painfully bad) and this year's Oscars (someone who clearly didn't wanna be there vs a pep rally queen) I think I'm just going to wait for the winners press release lol. - @Ada. I wasn't talking on that perspective. I actually feel her songs now to be whining, especially SLY. And yeah, most boys don't date fat girls, she got dumped for it. But qualm is she should have put that asshole who dumped her behind and moved on, but she continued whining. What started in 19, still continues in 21. Mind you, I listened to 19 after 21. You would do better to buy I Am's DVD, worth it than seeing the tour live. @Crystal, I stopped watching MTV movie awards just so that I don't have to see Kristen's constipated face and apalling wardrobe. — Legolas (talk2me) 10:05, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Jivesh, Beyonce is nominated for Best Female video and Best Choerography, both for RTW, it hasn't been released long enough to qualify for Video of the Year tbh. And Adele is only getting so much recognition because of how incredibly successful she has been this year, and success should be recognised. But she might not even win them all, if any. Remember in 1996 when Mariah was nominated for 6 Grammy's (and IMO,, should have won them all) and didn't win a single won? It could go either way for Adele. Calvin • 999 12:26, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Calvin grammys are different. Adele deserves grammys. I cannot disagree but awards for for videos, especially one which is pedestrian at its best. NO. Jivesh • Talk2Me 15:35, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- I know what you're saying, but she is only getting nominated because of the colossal amount of success she has had in the US. She has sold even more than Gaga this year. If she hadn't of been so successful, she wouldn't have been nominated. She might have been included just to keep the peace, because you can't be that successful with no nominations. Calvin • 999 15:41, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

- I'm really pleased that someone from England is getting so much attention and recognition in America, because they usually only support their own. But RTW hasn't been out long enough to beat out nominations from others from the past year. She will get nominated next year. Calvin • 999 16:13, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- RTW's eligibility was this year, it won't be getting any nods next year. — Legolas (talk2me) 16:14, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- I can see why she wasn't nominated though, there are others which have been out a lot longer which deserve a nomination. Calvin • 999 16:32, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Being out for long time =/= a good video, this is a video music awards, not MTV music awards. And let's see miss "ohh everybody dumps me" ever do a single choreography of RTW, or even think of coming up with something like BTW. And don't give me that monotony about "its good because they are promoting a British artist" nonsense, I hardly care what nationality artists are when it comes to technical work awards, which is what the VMAs are, or rather was once in a spandex distant horizon. — Legolas (talk2me) 17:40, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- What? Are you talking about Christina? And I do care that Adele, a British singer, is getting recognition, because American singers dominate world charts and the music industry as a whole, and I like to see that she is getting recognised for how incredibly successful she has been this year. I agree that Video of the Year is very debatable for sitting in a chair for most of the video, but Bruno Mars pulls a piano through a street and Katy Perry walks around Budapest. It's a matter of personal opinion, and this is mine. But as if they are going to completely ignore Adele, they can't, she probably won't win them, but there is a need to nominate her to keep the peace. And the VMA are MTVs. Calvin • 999 18:10, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

FLC matter
Your friendly FLC director here with a revisit request. Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of Tennessee Volunteers head football coaches/archive1 is reaching the point where it will be time for a decision soon. You made a batch of comments, and my fellow director Dabomb87 has asked whether you've been invited to revisit the remaining ones. When you have time, please check to see if anything needs further work. While I'm here, thanks for your hard work in FLC reviews. Giants2008 (27 and counting) 20:14, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

Goodbye
Hi and also goodbye Legolas. Thanks for being super helpful, understanding and nice to me during my time editing, I very much appreciate it!! When I first started editing I – in good-faith – added tons of images to Lady Gaga's article and you rightfully pointed out that these are articles, not scapbooks. That led me to stop abusing Wiki commons lol. And when you've reviewed my GANs, even when the grammar was God awful to the point where most editors would just quick fail it, you took the time to list them out for me to correct. Your articles have been a great example for me (and others) to work off of. You've also mostly helped me not feel too lonely editing here. I'm considering myself 'retired' from Wiki but, for the next several weeks, I'll be briefly visiting this site. I recently worked sooo hard on an article and considered it to be my best work here ever. But now.... At this point I just feel like I have nothing to offer Wiki and am only making things worse. It has just been kinda building since another editor actually made me cry like a year ago. =/
I'm very thin-skinned and do not handle criticism well, so there is a good chance that my now negative feelings toward Wiki will subside, as I can be a total drama queen. I guess most of my extra summer time will now be spent preparing for my first day of high school (I was home-schooled for 7th, 8th and 9th grade, I will be going into 10th). If you wouldn't mind, can you make sure that no one vandalizes my user page and, as I still have several FLCs and GANs, leave a message on my talk page about if there are any opposes or someone reviewing it. You'd be doing me a huge favor with that! I wish you the complete best and hope to soon seen more FAs on your userpage as 99% of your articles deserve that status. Looking over this message, I'm so sorry if I made this too long. ~~ On a totally random note, I finally saw The Tree of Life. Longest 2.2 hours of. my. life. Those Cannes critics were right, but the imagery was brilliant. Peace! Crystal Clear x3 08:50, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

- Also, is your oppose to Radiohead discography still active? The Rambling Man (talk) 19:07, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
- Thirdly, your comments at List of awards and nominations received by Kamal Haasan appear to have been addressed, if you'd be kind enough to revisit?! The Rambling Man (talk) 19:09, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
- I have replied to Radiohead discography and my oppose is still there. As for the others, I will comment shortly. — Legolas (talk2me) 04:57, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

I award you this Right Half of the Barnstar for your extraordinary work in collaborating with me to bring List of awards and nominations received by Madonna to Featured List status. Bluesatellite (talk) 01:26, 26 July 2011 (UTC) |
Hey boy, sorry for a very late reply. I'm no longer editing in Wikipedia due to my business in real life. I'm so surprised that you have finished my work and promote it to FL status, you did it more than Lead :D, thank you. Bluesatellite (talk) 01:26, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
- He he. That was a really long list and a pretty difficult lead. — Legolas (talk2me) 04:57, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
Sales discrepancy
Hey, would you happen to why there is such a discrepancy in albums sales between Billboard and the RIAA for Shania Twain. Billboard says she sold 34 million albums while the RIAA says 48 million certified units. I know Up! adds double of what it really sold, but even if it would be left at 43 million. Which one should we trust? -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 15:59, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
- Overshipment. Her label didnot have a crystal ball to predict that sales would go down teh drains compared to what it was in the late 90s and early 2000s. Hence her certifications are nowhere near her sales. Both are trustable. Her SoundScan numbers are correct, while her actual sales would be somewhere near 36 million albums, counting the BMG music club sales, which are not counted as part of SoundScan. — Legolas (talk2me) 04:57, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

Featured Article promotion
Congratulations! | |
Thanks for all the work you did in making Hair (Lady Gaga song) a Featured Article! Your work is much appreciated.
In the spirit of celebration, you may wish to comment on another Featured article candidate... or perhaps review one of the Good Article nominees, as there is currently a backlog. Any help is appreciated! All the best, – Quadell (talk) |

DYK
Hi, Legolas. I understand that you are very busy and having a great vacation, but it would be really nice for you to take a look at this. I am in no hurry, so don't feel rushed. I am currently doing a major expansion to the "Love the Way You Lie" article right here. I was wondering if you can give me thoughts on a possible Did you know? taken from the draft.
- ... that to director Joseph Kahn's surprise, actress Megan Fox unhesitatingly accepted her starring role in the "Love the Way You Lie" music video, being a huge fan of rapper Eminem.
The draft cites an interview with Vibe as a source. This is my first DYK so it would be nice for you to give me a pointer, as I see that you have nominated a few DYK's yourself and having a triple crown. Again, if you are busy, I completely understand. Thanks, —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 22:47, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- One more thing, I proposed an Eminem WikiProject. Could you put a vote in for Oppose or Support? Thanks for your opinion. —WP:PENGUIN · [ TALK ] 18:02, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
- Hmmm would love to. "Stan" is my favorite song. — Legolas (talk2me) 06:08, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of accolades received by Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World/archive1
Hi there! A little while ago you made some great comments on my first FLC, List of accolades received by The Young Victoria, greatly helping promote it to FL status. My current nomination (found at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of accolades received by Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World/archive1) is currently needing reviews. Would you be interested in looking it over? I realize you're on vacation, so no worries if you're busy. I'm just confident the article can make it to FL, and want to ensure enough editors see it. Thanks very much, and please let me know if you ever need any FL help. Ruby2010 comment! 03:04, 1 August 2011 (UTC)

WikiCup 2011 July newsletter
We are half way through the penultimate round of this year's WikiCup; there is less than a month to go before we have our final 8. Our pool leaders are Adabow (submissions) (Pool A, 189 points) and PresN (submissions) (Pool B, 165 points). The number of points required to reach the next round is not clear at this time; there are some users who still do not have any recorded points. Please remember to update your submissions' pages promptly. In addition, congratulations to PresN, who scored the first featured topic points in the competition for his work on Thatgamecompany related articles. Most points this round generally have, so far, come from good articles, with only one featured article (White-bellied Sea Eagle, from Casliber (submissions)) and two featured lists (Hugo Award for Best Graphic Story, from PresN and Grammy Award for Best Native American Music Album, from Another Believer (submissions)). Points for Did You Know and good article reviews round out the scoring. No points have been awarded for In the News, good topics or featured pictures this round, and no points for featured sounds or portals have been awarded in the entire competition. On an unrelated note, preparation will be beginning soon for next year's WikiCup- watch this space!
There is little else to be said beyond the usual. Please list anything you need reviewing on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews, so others following the WikiCup can help, and please do help if you can by providing reviews for the articles listed there. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews generally at GAC, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup- points are, of course, offered for reviews at GAC. Two final notes: Firstly, please remember to state your participation in the WikiCup when nominating articles at FAC. Finally, some WikiCup-related statistics can be seen here and here. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges are reachable on their talk pages, or by email. Good luck! If you wish to start receiving or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. J Milburn and The ed17 11:36, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
Ask
Hi. Hope you are enjoying Holidays. Should i include this in 4? Jivesh • Talk2Me 15:21, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
- Take your call on this, you should know better. — Legolas (talk2me) 06:08, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- I think it is needed to show that both parties agreed that they still have an amicable relationship. But what is keeping me pondering is whether i should include the fact that her dad criticized hoe 4 is being handled. Jivesh • Talk2Me 09:19, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- Her daddy is not a label head or an industry prognosticator, hence his upsets don't hold a candle to her career or 4 at all. — Legolas (talk2me) 09:53, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

American Life
Finally I have completed the American Life article and references!! Took a couple of months and spent a bit of money on Madonna books. If it isnt too much to ask for could you look through it and mark any room for improvement or add any new information, I would really love this one to be a GA. PS, hope your enjoying your vacation :-) --FeuDeJoie (talk) 22:33, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
- A quick comment of mine is that the lead claims that the album was met with generally positive critical response, when it clearly received mixed reviews at best.--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 22:59, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
- I see some ref issues (broken book citations, unformatted refs etc.) Overall, a great job :) Novice7 (talk) 06:01, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- Feud, nice work, but still some content is lacking like more of the composition, the background and the recording infos. Don't nominate it now, I will haul it over shortly. — Legolas (talk2me) 06:08, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
- Changed the reception in the introduction, your definitely right about waiting to nominate!! Thanks for the comments guys --FeuDeJoie (talk) 12:56, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
