Welcome![edit]

Hello, Leila Dindar, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Badkoobeh Creative Communication Solutions, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, visit the Teahouse, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Information icon Hello, Leila Dindar, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Shery James (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 08:00, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Wikishovel,
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I appreciate you taking the time to review my editing patterns and raise this concern. Leila Dindar (talk) 13:31, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

COI awareness[edit]

Deb (talk) 08:22, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Deb,
Thanks for your assistance. I'm new to Wikipedia so any information you can provide will be of great help. I would be grateful if you could let me know the process for getting my article reviewed by experts before moving it to the mainspace.
Regarding the conflict of interest, while I'm not paid for creating this article, I'm interested in making it work. Please advise on what steps I can take to address this issue. Thanks. Leila Dindar (talk) 08:59, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You may not have been paid specifically for creating the article, you are obviously part of a team working on it. Please let us know what the reason is for your interest in the topic. If you have any connection with the company, you probably have a conflict of interest, and this must be declared. Deb (talk) 12:45, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for sharing your concerns about potential conflicts of interest. I appreciate your thoughtful approach to this topic.
To address your questions, I want to clarify that I was not paid specifically for creating this article. Rather, I am part of a team working on increasing awareness and understanding of the advertising industry in Iran, which is a topic that has received relatively little attention globally. There is limited content available on the state of advertising in Iran, and I believe publishing this article can help shed light on this important aspect of my country's economy and culture.
My interest in this topic stems not just from my role on this project, but also from my own knowledge and expertise in marketing and advertising.
I can assure you that I have no undisclosed conflict of interest in discussing this subject. My aim is to provide objective, well-researched information to the best of my ability. If there were any potential conflicts, I would of course disclose them upfront.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. I'm happy to provide further clarification. Leila Dindar (talk) 13:23, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's a very evasive answer. Do you work for or with the company about whom the article was written? Deb (talk) 13:29, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize if my previous response came across as evasive. That was not my intent at all. To be fully transparent, I have collaborated with them on some projects in the past, and I'm doing this upon a request from one of my friends. Leila Dindar (talk) 13:48, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Who do you work for? Deb (talk) 16:02, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have a freelance job. Leila Dindar (talk) 05:57, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You have a conflict of interest and your refusal to admit this has shown that you are unlikely to be able to edit neutrally about projects you have worked on. In future, please stay away from any articles about companies you have worked with. English Wikipedia is very strict in enforcing its neutral point of view, unlike some other Wiki sites. If you repeat this type of editing, you are likely to be blocked from editing altogether. Deb (talk) Deb (talk) 08:04, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You've moved the draft to mainspace, and as noted below, it's still written like an advertisement, and you have a clear conflict of interest. You can submit the draft for review when you think it's ready, by pressing the "Submit" button at the top of the draft. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 12:13, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to Badkoobeh Creative Communication Solutions. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Wikishovel (talk) 12:06, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
