January 2022[edit]

Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. At least one of your edits on the page Pegasus Project (investigation), while it may have been in good faith, was difficult to distinguish from vandalism. To help other editors understand the reason for the changes, you can use an edit summary for your contributions. You can also take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Edit in question - Special:Diff/1063549987. Without any edit summary, addition of an unnecessary weasel word to reliably sourced content was not constructive. hemantha (brief) 17:00, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Thank you. Your account has been blocked indefinitely because the chosen username is a clear violation of our username policy – it is obviously profane, threatens, attacks or impersonates another person, or suggests that you do not intend to contribute positively to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you think there are good reasons why these don't describe your account, or why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For reference, this is transliterated Hindi that essentially amounts to "suck it", and through inference (as in English) "suck my dick". The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 22:34, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

'Lelemera' in my local zilo dialect is rising sun. however if, username is a problem i can change that to some otherLelemera (talk) 04:19, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Yes; pick a new username. And look, I'm not buying your claim here. Combined with your inappropriate edits, you'll need a more convincing unblock request if you expect to be unblocked. Yamla (talk) 10:33, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

'Lelemera' is rising sun in my local dialect, i will change my username if that found inappropriate to users and i will edit appropriately and help make grow wikipedia Lelemera (talk) 10:53, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Procedural decline; you forgot to pick a new username and fill in that particular field. I'll also note that you were warned to make a substantially more convincing unblock request. Please do so; you'll only get one more chance. Yamla (talk) 10:57, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

How to change username plz advice. my new user name wll be 'Lelemeradil'Lelemera (talk) 11:01, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The instructions are literally given to you above. And no, obviously Lelemeradil wouldn't be acceptable. It looks like you are deliberately wasting our time at this point. No username involving "lele mera" would be acceptable and your continued trolling shows you plan to actively harm Wikipedia. --Yamla (talk) 11:03, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK, requesting for my username change from'Lelemera' to 'ZeroHour2435' . plz assign me 'ZeroHour2435 if availbaleLelemera (talk) 11:06, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You haven't addressed your inappropriate edits and username trolling. --Yamla (talk) 11:15, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Turns out, this was a block-evading troll. I have upgraded the block to reflect this and revoked talk page access to prevent further trolling, as was done by another admin on their other talk pages. --Yamla (talk) 11:33, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely to prevent abuse.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public. You may instead email the Arbitration Committee at arbcom-en@wikimedia.org with your username and appeal.

Administrators: CheckUsers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. Therefore, a Checkuser must be consulted before this block can be removed. Administrators undoing checkuser blocks without permission or the prior approval from a checkuser risk having their administrator rights removed by the Arbitration Committee (per this announcement).
