Line breaks[edit]

Hi, I noticed you are introducing line breaks seemingly arbitrarily to many articles. In most cases, the line breaks are interrupting the flow of ideas, making the resulting material difficult to read and understand.

For example, in the article Phantasy Star (video game). The original text read:

Phantasy Star tells the story of Alis on her journey to defeat the evil ruler of her star system, King Lassic, after her brother dies at his hands. She traverses between planets, gathering a party of fighters and collecting the items she needs to avenge her brother's death and return peace to the star system.

You introduced a line break here:

Phantasy Star tells the story of Alis on her journey to defeat the evil ruler of her star system, King Lassic, after her brother dies at his hands.
She traverses between planets, gathering a party of fighters and collecting the items she needs to avenge her brother's death and return peace to the star system.

This is not good writing. The plot is being summarized here, so the sentences need to be read together to fully develop the idea. A reader who is skimming the article will be confused if they start reading at the second paragraph. Who is 'she'? Her brother died? What's going on? They need to backtrack to the previous paragraph to understand the context.

You also introduced numerous short paragraphs of one sentence in the Reception section, which goes against our Manual of Style (MOS:PARA). Please take a look at recently featured articles, such as Medieval cuisine and Baljuna Covenant, to get an understanding of how to use line breaks appropriately.

Thank you,

Thanks for the feedback. Still learning so appreciate the chance to gain more skills here.
I was introducing line breaks whenever I saw large blocks of text, which usually makes it difficult to parse the text. But reading your comment I'll make sure that these breaks don't interrupt the logical flow of the paragraph in the future.
