Disambiguation link notification for October 25[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Air Transat Flight 236, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Transatlantic. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:16, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Harry Roberts[edit]

Hello & thanks for your contributions. Do you have a verifiable source for your edit that Roberts has been released. The parole board decision on 24 October 2014, merely gave approval for his release at some date, at that time, yet to be confirmed. In the meantime, I'm afraid your edit will be removed until such time as a source can be confirmed. Thanks. Regards, Eagleash (talk) 21:21, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

November 2014[edit]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did on User talk:Theroadislong. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 19:38, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive behaviour. Your behaviour is verging on harassment. Wikipedia prides itself on providing a safe environment for its collaborators, and harassing edits, such as the one you made to User talk:Theroadislong, potentially compromise that safe environment. If you continue behaving like this, you may be blocked from editing. Mz7 (talk) 21:27, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Who even are you, and why are you talking to me?

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Roast beef. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. Thank you. November 2014[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Chamith (talk) 21:26, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Personal opinions[edit]

Hi there, thanks for your contributions! Please don't add your personal opinions to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit. According to Wikipedia guidelines, we should maintain an encyclopedic tone in our articles. utcursch | talk 17:44, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, most people would agree with your opinion. But Wikipedia is not a discussion forum. You can post comments related to article improvement on the talk page of the article. But for your personal opinions, a blog or social media sites such as reddit are better places. utcursch | talk 18:20, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to If You Say So. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Chamith (talk) 16:35, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Air New Zealand Flight 901 does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Jetstreamer Talk 00:15, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of one week for persistent disruptive editing despite previous blocks. I very nearly indefinitely blocked you until you could account for your behavior, but I've decided to give you one more chance, because not all of your edits are disruptive. If, after this block expires, you are able to stick to constructive editing, then you'll be fine. If you cannot, then your next block is likely to be indefinite.. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  A fluffernutter is a sandwich! (talk) 17:35, 24 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

March 2015[edit]

Please note that your recent edit summary was not very civil. Wikipedia requires that contributors be civil to make collaborating to build the encyclopedia possible. In future please use more polite edit summaries. Thank you. - Ahunt (talk) 20:49, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I was just coming here to say the same thing. I note that you've been blocked before. Seems that you've not learned from the experience. Suggest you do so pretty quickly otherwise you know what will happen. Mjroots (talk) 21:37, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

April 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Eduardofeld. Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Sweet Dreams (Beyoncé song). Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Adabow (talk) 21:35, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

August 2015[edit]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory content into an article or any other Wikipedia page again, as you did at Matthew Perry, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
