my edit on Battle of Rovine is based on fully reading one of the references - paper by Dan Ioan Muresan. "Avant Nicopolis: observations sur la campagne de 1395 pour le contrôle du Bas-Danube".

I would also like to add from the same the context of the battle & the immediate outcome based on same reference as well as P.P. Panaitescu's work.
