Trouble logging into my account

I keep getting logged out whenever I try to log into my account. Can somebody help? 69.19.14.27 13:49, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

What exactly is the problem? I may be able to help but it is probably better to try here. You can also ask for a new password by e-mail. GDon4t0 (talk to me...) 17:31, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

The problem was with my Internet connection at that IP (I suspect that I'm on some kind of shared IP and its logged out because of Session Authentication or something). Life, Liberty, Property 22:44, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

Global Warming

That was a pretty cool add on Global warming. I think it will get reversed though. But it was an interesting bit of info. --Blue Tie 23:22, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

It didn't shock me to see it reversed, but it was worth the try. As I saw in the talk archives, the consensus tended to be in favor of inclusion, but it was quickly moved to the archives to avoid its inclusion. I guess it goes to show that the pro-Global Warming people don't want any evidence to the contrary because it might cause schoolchildren to doubt Global Warming. Even Wikipedia cannot be free of bias, though it does a great job on the whole. Life, Liberty, Property 08:49, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Seaking (Pokémon) reverting

Just an FYI that when you reverted the vandalism on Seaking (Pokémon), you missed that there was still some vandalism from an even earlier edit. Just a heads up to remind you to check the entire page, not just the previous edit. Happy editing! Jmlk17 09:31, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

2007 Fort Dix attack plot

It might be good to review the three-revert rule when you get a chance. You may be close to violating it. Tom Harrison Talk 03:06, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

I guess I'll wait a day or 2 before I edit that article again. If I want anything changed in the meantime, I'll make a request on the talk page. Life, Liberty, Property 03:11, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

Your VandalProof Application

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Life, Liberty, Property. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that you don't have the required 250 mainspace contributions.

Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. «Snowolf How can I help?» 00:57, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Your revert on Gurdas Mann

Why did you revert back to the previous version and send me a message saying thank you for testing? It was not a test, I significantly improved the article, removed spelling and grammar mistakes as well as addressing the tagged issue of neutrality and clean up. I rewrote and cleaned up most of the article and added a photo, there was no need to revert. I would like to know why you did this as I will be saving my version again soon. If you thought it was vandalism of any kind you are sorely mistaken. Jsu 14:24, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

I got your message, I accept your apology. Sorry for over-reacting, it's just that I spent a long time cleaning the article up and re-writing, it was a total disgrace beforehand (not that it's perfect now). Shame we had to meet under these circumstances, I agree with a lot of your views and beliefs on your user page especially regarding global warming and censorship even though you are a capitalist :P. Jsu 10:56, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Digg

I am sorry, but we need more than one reference, especially when your "reference" is a site that was created one month ago. It is not different from creating a page in Geocities or Blogspot to give an opinion and then inserting it in the article. Try to find a reference of better quality, and thanks for understanding. -- ReyBrujo 03:43, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Sudan's "alleged" human rights violations

While I respect the attempt to remain non-POV, we also need to be conscious of reality. Who on earth (except interested parties) is alleging that Sudan is NOT committing human rights violations. It seems well established. Before restoring your weasel language, please address who you site as an authority to counter the very well established role of the Sudan regime in the situation in Darfur. Thanks.

Adam Holland 23:29, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Here's a quote of the response I just added to the Ron Paul talk page. "The other side on the Darfur issue refers to it as a Civil War. I can provide a few articles by libertarian opinion website lewrockwell.com. [1] [2] [3] [4] A Google search of this site turns up 59 results critical of intervention in Darfur and not referring to it as a "genocide" or "human rights violations." A search of the neo-conservative National Review website also turns up many articles critical of that viewpoint on Darfur. [5] There definitely isn't a consensus that a genocide or human rights violations are occuringn in the Sudan." Life, Liberty, Property 23:38, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

External resources for article osdev

The site I put as a external resource: osdev.org under the "osdev" article is a good resource for people who want to get into operating system development and therefor I think should stay. I am in no way affiliated with the site - i only use it myself as a resource and I think a person looking for os development would be interested in knowing where you can find information regarding that subject. I understand your concern though but i think the site is justified in this case. Many thanx —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mark exclamation (talkcontribs) 05:09, 24 July 2007.

I reverted that edit assuming it to be non-notable link spam while I was looking for vandalism. I do have not enough knowledge about the site to make a decision one way or the other, so I will not revert it again. Life, Liberty, Property 05:14, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, but "rm ls" doesn't mean anything to me. Why did you removed that link? Cheers, Pdfpdf 11:34, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

I was using that as an abbreviation for "remove linkspam." That particular site has been engaging in linkspamming (see here, so I removed all of their links. I used that for shorthand to speed up the process of removing those links. In particular, they are in violation of the External Links Policy as links are supposed to provide a resource beyond what the article would if it were a featured article and a site with biographies consisting of merely a few paragraphs does nothing more than repeat what would already be covered in the article. Life, Liberty, Property 11:43, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. "rm spam" I've seen - just never seen it referred to as "ls" before. Now I know! Sorry to bother you, and thanks for the prompt reply. Cheers, Pdfpdf 11:57, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

I guess I'll use "rm spam" in the future to prevent confusion. Life, Liberty, Property 12:11, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
