Non-free image use[edit]
Hi Liftrighttv. This is just to let you know that I removed some non-free images from User:Liftrighttv/sandbox. This was done in accordance with WP:UP#Non-free images and WP:NFCC#9. Non-free content such as those TV station logos are considered to be still under copyright protection by Wikipedia and each use of a non-free image is required to satisfy all 10 of the non-free content criteria listed in WP:NFCCP. One of these criteria is NFCC#9 which says that non-free content may only be used (i.e., displayed) in the article namespace, which means no user pages, no talk pages, no userboxes, no sandboxes, no templates, etc. For future reference, it's good practice to check the licensing of any images before adding them to userpages, etc. to make sure they are not non-free content. You can check the licensing of the image by clicking on it and looking for the license template.
Another thing you should also be aware of it that copying-and-pasting entire articles or large portions of article into your user sandboxes or onto other page because this might also be considered to be a copyright violation if not done correctly.
