Are these the only pictures of pictures of Western Mass Hardcore bands circa 1983 that you have for this entry? Stymie83 (talk) 22:57, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Western Mass Harcore[edit]

Hello Lighthouse. Max Volume here. Thank you for your very kind mention of both me and my fanzine, Growing Concern, in your article. Obviously, you were there. We probably knew each other. But I know you're not Todd Cote. Todd Cote, in the book American Hardcore, fucked up the WMass chapter by claiming he stated the scene (with J) with the Feb 83 Grange Hall show. Funny thing, but I was selling the third issue of Growing Concern at that show. So the first 2 issues must have contained blank pages! It appears that old Todd stabbed everybody in the back for one line in an obscure, not very well-researched book. Hope he's enjoying the fame and glory!

By the way, Stymie up above: I know some places you can get lots of pics from that era. Type my "other" name, Danny Hartling, into myspace or youtube. You'll find me and my contact info. Cheers!
