Please stop

[edit]

You've been adding dozens of images in duplicate, after somebody else added the same image before you. Please actually look at the articles and the images before you add them. Many of the images were also bad, low-quality, irrelevant or otherwise inappropriate. I know you're doing this as part of a contest, but please be more careful. Fut.Perf. 14:55, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

... and you are using an incorrect file parameter of "upright1.2". It should be "upright=1.2". —Bruce1eetalk 15:22, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fan art in lead

Hi, you've been adding low-quality fan art to Middle-Earth articles. Please stop. Many thanks. Chiswick Chap (talk) 07:12, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Images in ship articles

[edit]

It's great that you're adding images to the articles, but you don't seem to understand that you're putting them in the wrong place. Add the images to the section at the top of the infobox labelled ship image in the line that begins |Ship image= and add a caption for the photo to the line that starts |Ship caption=. Your additions of images that do not comply with this will be reverted until you get it right.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 12:23, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please also take the time to check the captions you're adding to images. Don't just cut and paste the photo name into the caption as you did for example here, here and here. As it stands a large number of your images are misplaced and have nonsense captions. -- Euryalus (talk) 13:50, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Mirrors

[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Anambra State. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Kuru (talk) 11:25, 16 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Federal college of land resources technology Owerri, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Infobox parameters

[edit]

Please stop adding relatives to infoboxes unless they are notable and have their own articles. Do not add nationality if it is the same as the birth country (see WP:INFONAT). A large number of your edits need to be fixed. MB 16:53, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay thanks for the correction Lilianfeliz (talk) 16:56, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, you have used |relatives= to specify a number. It it to list the names of notable relatives only. |children= can be used to list a number and/or names of notable children. Education/alma_mater is for college level. Where a person went to high school is usually not very significant and does not contribute to their notability, so it doesn't go in the infobox in most cases. MB 23:22, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I have taken note of these contributions, I appreciate it so much Lilianfeliz (talk) 12:05, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, status is a alias of criminal_status, it is not for marriage information - just use |spouse= when appropriate. I don't see why you are adding "see below" for awards. The infobox is to be a quick summary of key information, not duplicate the Table of Contents. MB 23:58, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
alright, I have taken note. Thanks alot for your corrections Lilianfeliz (talk) 10:10, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Stefan Ludik, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hugo. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
