Guideline in progress[edit]

This guideline was created on the 12th of August because of an editor's comment that "Don't be shy" sounds better than "Be Bold". I believe it could be a good message to give new people and to help wikipedia seem inviting. Currently, much of the content is based off WP:BOLD, but this will hopefully change as myself and other editors help to work on the guideline. As it is new, please consider helping to improve it - your thoughts are most welcome! LinaMishima 13:37, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Needs more focus[edit]

This seems to be more "Don't take it personally" than "Don't be shy". A good essay encouraging people to communicate via Talk pages and be bold might be useful, but you need to figure out exactly what you're trying to say before you can put it into policy/guideline form.
