Hello there, thanks for your edits to this page. Any information you can provide to make the article more accurate will be valued, particularly if you are indeed Linda Davidson as your edit summaries suggest. There are a few problems however with you editing your own page on wikipedia. Wikipedia has a policy about notable individuals such as yourself writing autobiographical information and you can read all about why on this page: Wikipedia:Autobiography. What other notable people have tended to do is to proivide information in published media backing up things that they would like added to their pages. You can do this by leaving information on the article's talk page and posting links to sources if you have any. That way, other users can add the information and you would not be accused of conflict of interest. Do you know of any published sources, either on the net or off the net that we can use to verify the information you have included? I will be happy to add them if you do.GunGagdinMoan 11:59, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Linda, I have done some editing of the page using the linked-in profile and a few interviews you did last year. I had to remove some of the claims for now to make it more neutral but they can remina in the article history to be reincluded when we get some sources. We can certainly use a.bridge website when it comes online. I tried to keep most of the salient points in. Have a read of your page now and see if it is accurate. Unfortunately, editors are bound here to add only what is published in media sources, and that must be frustrating when the media report inaccuracies, such as the Robin Green reference. Regarding Mary Smith's last appearance in EastEnders, you had put 1989, but am totally certain that your character left in 1988, mainly because I have the episode (classic two finger salute episode!!).GunGagdinMoan 12:46, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, is there a photo of you that you own the copyright to that you would be happy to release under a free use license? as I would love to be able to illustrate your page, though of course only if you would like to. GunGagdinMoan 12:52, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
My pleasure, glad you think it reads well, and a photo would be brilliant :) GunGagdinMoan 00:23, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I just recently did a photo reminiscing session myself; hilarious hairstyles that I was sure looked good in the 90s kept me amused for hours :) If you have a new account here, I think they make you wait a while before they allow you uploading rights. But if you join wikipedia commons you should be able to upload the image there under a free license [1] (you'd need to open a new account there as I dont think people can log in from their wikipedia accounts as it's a different site although it is affiliated). Thanks so much for this, it's always really appreciated when notable people provide images of themselves as wikipedia only lets non-copyrighted images appear on pages of notable living persons, meaning we only tend to get images if someone has papped a person with their mobile phone or something! So, for instance, we wouldnt be allowed to use a screenshot taken of you from eastenders etc on your page, as the BBC owns that copyright. But actually, that's probably a good thing in your case, or else your page would have images of you dressed in your EE punk costume, which is not very representative :) GunGagdinMoan 23:26, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
