DYK for The Summit of the Gods (film)[edit]

On 13 November 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article The Summit of the Gods (film), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the French animated film The Summit of the Gods is based on a Japanese manga series? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/The Summit of the Gods (film). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, The Summit of the Gods (film)), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Another missing article to create for you[edit]

Hi Link20XX, there is another missing article to create about an original TV anime by Hoods Entertainment that aired between January and March 2021, can you create it? It's Gekidol.

If the following article meets the criteria for B-class assessment, please review this. Shinnosuke15, 00:56, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've nominated the article for GA assessment. If you want, you can review this. Shinnosuke15, 07:54, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

 • I am a bit busy so I don't believe I will be doing a GA-review any time soon, although I applaud the effort. Link20XX (talk) 16:03, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
 • I take that back, I have more free time than I originally anticipated. I will give it a look. Link20XX (talk) 03:39, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting the articles[edit]

From many months i am noticing you even though we have made certain changes in our articles on anime distributed in India , you are certainly reverting the same issues again and again , we though have mention the reference from which the article information had taken still you are reverting it , we request you to stop doing this or atleast help us to improve the article. 2402:3A80:6B4:D73A:0:50:EE6E:3401 (talk) 15:54, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

 • I have given advice on how to solve these problems many times. For instance, 90% of the titles listed in the Online platforms and TV channels section are completely unsourced, which is not acceptable. That tag should be removed once all the list entries are sourced. As for the unreliable sources tag, Mumbai Live, animemotivation.com, and Anime India all appear to be fairly questionable, and Times of India is considered questionable as well per WP:RSP. Quora is also cited in the article, which is a user-generated and unreliable source. The fanpov tag refers to the lead, which imo may need to be completely re-written to be neutral. If you fix these problems, then you can remove the tags. However, doing so without fixing them is wrong. Link20XX (talk) 16:00, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Two requests for you[edit]

Hi Link20XX, sorry to disturb you again, but i have two new requests for you.

1. Can you create a new article about The Imaginary, an upcoming anime film by Studio Ponoc based on the British novel of the same name that will premiere in summer 2022?

2. Can you also upload the image of the cover of the first volume of light novel Chitose is in the Ramune Bottle?

Thanks.- Tebus19 (talk) 23:45, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Partly done I added the cover image for Chitose is in the Ramune Bottle, but as for the first request, I don't believe it meets WP:NFILM just yet. All I can find are articles stating that it was announced, but that's about it. I can create a draft, but at present, I don't believe it's notable. Link20XX (talk) 00:30, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Another request for you[edit]

Hi Link20XX, sorry if i disturb you again, but i have an another new request for you.

Can you upload the image of the cover of the first volume of light novel Spy Classroom?

Thanks.- Tebus19 (talk) 12:31, 21 December 2021

No worries,  Done. Regards, Link20XX (talk) 15:39, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merry Christmas![edit]

@Centcom08: Thanks! Merry Christmas to you as well! Link20XX (talk) 23:08, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merry Christmas! Both here and in discord :D If you feel that something about that Jujutsu Kaisen 0 article is redundant feel free to be bold or mention it in the talk page. Also, considering your skills with Japanese text, if you ever find interview with the director and writers, could you at least post them in the talk page? This is clearly what the article lacks the most besides a normal plot section. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 23:13, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Sensor (manga)[edit]

On 4 January 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Sensor (manga), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Junji Ito had no particular ending in mind while writing Sensor? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Sensor (manga). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Sensor (manga)), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. New article to create for you[edit]

Hi Link20XX, there is a new article to create about a short TV anime that recently premiered on January 5, 2022, can you create it? It's Irodorimidori and is based on the in-story band of the same name from Sega's Chunithm rhythm arcade game.

Sources: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2021-11-01/frontwing-produces-short-anime-for-chunithm-irodorimidori-music-group/.179076 and https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2021-12-10/irodorimidori-anime-reveals-staff-january-5-premiere/.180479

Thanks.- Tebus19 (talk) 22:50, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies for the delay. Will start as soon as I get a chance. Link20XX (talk) 04:13, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Tebus19: Alright, so apparently the video game the band originates from, Chunithm, has an article. While I could create a stub, I believe (at least at present) it may be prudent to merge it in there. Thoughts? Link20XX (talk) 04:38, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Link20XX: So, are you working on the Irodorimidori article or not? Tebus19 (talk) 18:26, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I do still plan to work on it. Just waiting for a reply to my question above. Link20XX (talk) 18:31, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, i have no thoughts. Tebus19 (talk) 18:36, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Link20XX: Hi, sorry to disturb you again, but are you still working on the Irodorimidori article? P.S. I replied to your question. Tebus19 (talk) 19:13, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but I have been finding myself busy lately and I am certain I will have to create it anytime soon. If you want to, I have a draft I created at User:Link20XX/workspace2 and you can feel free to use it. Just don't move that page into the mainspace. Link20XX (talk) 23:11, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, thank you. Tebus19 (talk) 00:03, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Link20XX: Hi again Link20XX, are you no longer working on the Irodorimidori article? If not, i can create the article myself. Tebus19 (talk) 18:07, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, sorry I thought you were going to create it. Well I haven't done any work since you last commented here. Link20XX (talk) 18:17, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I will create it someday then. Thank you. Tebus19 (talk) 18:49, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello[edit]

Sorry for the hassle of making you rollback the episode pages I did. I will avoid that. Also, I have a question on pictures for manga. Does the manga upload have to be volume 1 or could it be any volume on the main page for the manga? For example, “bleach manga” has ‘volume 1’ on the front of the wikipedia page. Kai7176 (talk) 18:26, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't have to be volume 1, just that using the first volume is generally preferable as it gives the best visual identification of the series for someone who hasn't read the original work. However, there are cases where a different volume is pictured, such as Case Closed to minimize the amount of non-free content. Link20XX (talk) 19:28, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you![edit]

The Anime and Manga BarnSakura
This is quite a bit overdue, but I feel you deserve it for how many anime & manga-related articles you've made/improved — not even including all the work you do behind the scenes, such as helping to defend articles that are able to be improved from unconstructive deletionism. Keep it up! 0qd (talk) 01:52, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I came here to give you an overdue BarnSakura myself, but it seems that I was beaten to it. Keep up the good work! — Goszei (talk) 23:10, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Second opinion on MOS:SOB[edit]

I am in an edit war with another editor on Akidearest and we are both claiming to be following MOS:SOB. I have "Bakersfield, California, U.S." and the other editor is insisting "Bakersfield, California, U.S." Now one thing Wikipedia is consistent on is inconsistency, so I am asking for a second opinion on the matter. Thank you. --WashuOtaku (talk) 18:35, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but I agree with MB on this one. WP:SOB explicitly states to not use Buffalo, New York and instead use Buffalo, New York. Link20XX (talk) 23:20, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. --WashuOtaku (talk) 23:39, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Two new articles to create for you[edit]

Hi Link20XX, i created the Irodorimidori article since it seemed you were too busy with other things, and i have a request: can you create two new articles? The first is the Alice Gear Aegis game, which received an OVA adaptation and a recently announced TV anime adaptation. The second is the Eien no 831 TV anime film, which will premiere on January 30, 2022 on Wowow.

Source for Alice Gear Aegis: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2022-01-21/alice-gear-aegis-game-gets-tv-anime/.181774

Thanks, and sorry for disturbing.- Tebus19 (talk) 01:37, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No worries. I started work on the former. Link20XX (talk) 01:57, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
 Done both. Link20XX (talk) 21:08, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I request to a create an article for Yurie Kozakai[edit]

Hello Link20XX, i suggest to create an article for Japanese voice actress Yurie Kozakai she has a main voice roles: Ichika Arima Koikimo Pekora Dropkick on My Devil Yuki Yoshikawa Hori-san to Miyamura-kun Maria Kuroda World's End Harem and Kaori Takahashi Talentless Nana and much more voice roles, so can you create it? Category:Anime television series by year[edit]

Hey Link, someone speedily changed the categories for the anime television series by year to anime television series debuts by year and there are red links all over the articles. Missing article to create for you[edit]

Hi Link20XX, there is missing article to create about an short TV anime based on a trading card game that aired between January 2020 and June 2021 for 50 episodes, can you create it? It's Rebirth.

Sources: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2019-09-19/bushiroad-reveals-rebirth-short-anime-for-rebirth-for-you-card-game/.151279 and https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/daily-briefs/2019-11-27/bushiroad-rebirth-short-anime-premieres-on-january-5/.153763

Thanks.- Tebus19 (talk) 02:25, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure that series is notable as an anime. Maybe as a trading card game, but I don't find much in Japanese for the anime itself. Link20XX (talk) 06:16, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Link20XX: So, maybe you will not be creating it?. Tebus19 (talk) 16:04, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Since the series was not licensed, there is unlikely to be good sources for it. Considering its also been out for about three years now tells me that new sources are unlikely to come. Thus, I do not plan to create it. Sorry. Regards, Link20XX (talk) 23:02, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
