Deletion discussion about Concha Gómez[edit]

Hello, LittleDart,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Onel5969 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Concha Gómez should be deleted. Your comments are welcome over Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Concha Gómez .

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Onel5969}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

DYK for Pamela E. Harris[edit]

On 2 February 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Pamela E. Harris, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that mathematician Pamela E. Harris co-founded the online platform Lathisms to promote Hispanic and Latino American participation in mathematics? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Pamela E. Harris. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Pamela E. Harris), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Leona Harris moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Leona Harris, is not suitable as written to remain published. Aside from questionable notability, it appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 10:34, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you think there is a COI? If you look at my user page you will see that this is the type of article I usually work on. I do not personally know Harris nor am I paid to do any editing. Also, what info is not referenced in her article? Please be specific as every sentence has at least one citation on it. LittleDart (talk) 17:45, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for all of your work on Wikipedia User:Onel5969. I just worked on the Leona Harris article. I believe there are now adequate references. I don't believe there is a COI. I too have worked on many articles on women mathematicians. This is a good faith effort by an experienced Wikipedian. The subject meets criteria 4 and 6 for notability of academics. Hi. There is an obvious link between you and the article's subject. How do do you know this person? How did you meet? Onel5969 TT me 19:14, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Are you speaking to LitteDart or me? I have never met Leona Harris and do not know her. LittleDart says she does not personally know Leona Harris. What are you referring to? Mvitulli (talk) 22:20, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
