Capitalizing a title[edit]

There is a "move page" tab at the top of most pages that allows you to retitle to page to a different name. I think it only appears if your account is more than a few days old though (5, if I recall correctly). This was done in order to stop idiots from renaming Man to A miserable pile of secrets! and the like.

If you tell me the name of the page though, I'll fix it for you. --tjstrf talk 23:51, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Moment Machine CD.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Moment Machine CD.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:08, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Moment Machine[edit]

A tag has been placed on Moment Machine, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Studerby 00:17, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Jacob edwards, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:55, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Ljplum12. I saw you made a temporary page for Granada Theater (Dallas, Texas) after I reviewed the article's report here: Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2011 June 8. The temp also has copyright problems as you can see at the Copyright problems board link. I am also concerned about the article's image licenses. Logos are usually attributed and uploaded under fair-use. With the other pictures, if User:Gavinmulloy77 didn't take them, they cannot be their own work and right belong to the copyright holder. This leads into my next question, are you User:Gavinmulloy77 and/or User:Granada Theater? I ask because Gavinmulloy77 made the article and you made the temp while Granada Theater edited the article as well. You appear new to Wikipedia and we have a strict policy about the use of multiple accounts, you can see it here. Please comment at the Copyright problems board and if you have any questions or replies, please comment here or at my talk page.--NortyNort (Holla) 12:47, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Apple Sodas.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused personal photo. Out of scope.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 02:59, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
