Thank you for the review Llywrch, I'm reading the collection as well. I, too, dislike seeing something that I've already read elsewhere and not sure if it's a simple reprint, or update, or what. Consequently, I note in a footnote (#2) that "This text is an update to a presentation of material originally appearing in [the book]." I did this because of the circumstances of presenting on material in the book at the conferences -- before the book's publication -- which then led to an edited collection (after the book's publication) but under a CC license -- before the book's Web/CC edition. Of what I've read so far, I can also recommend Geiger's piece. It's on his bot theme but not overly redundant of what I've read before and his writing is a pleasure to read. -Reagle (talk) 14:30, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
