iPhone 6s

[edit]

I am the same person who made the edit to the iPhone 6s page that you reverted. I'm just at a different location. Please don't accuse me of sockpuppetry as that is not what I mean to do. You reverted changes I made to the iPhone 6s page introduction. However, I as an iPhone 6 owner would not agree that the 6s is an upgraded 6. There are a lot of changes in the 6s. For example: Series 7000 aluminum, 3D Touch, 12 MP/4K camera, Live Photos, 1080p slow motion, 5 MP front-facing camera, Retina Flash, faster processor, more RAM, LTE Advanced. I probably missed a few. 107.77.216.232 (talk) 22:30, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thanks for reaching out! My revert was in response to what I saw as a subjective edit. Like you said, you think there are a lot of changes in the 6s. However, Wikipedia needs to rely on published, verifiable sources for information and opinions, and S-series iPhones by Apple are widely reported in the media as, per the article, having a "similar design with updated hardware". The iPhone 6s article does quite clearly make notes in regard to the new and improved hardware of the 6s vs 6, having the entire Specifications section dedicated to hardware changes that separate it from the previous iteration. I hope you understand what I mean! :) I appreciate that you took the time to write to me! Have a great day! LocalNet (talk) 01:49, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Apple Store

[edit]

It might be the case that the material you added to Apple Store was a useful addition to the article. I didn't check to see if it was. Although I did not undo your edit, when copying material within Wikipedia it must be done in a particular way to properly credit all contributors. You tried, but please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia for the proper way to copy material within Wikipedia. Make sure to use a link, and add the language re attribution. Thanks.--S Philbrick(Talk) 12:39, 22 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the note! I'll go read that page right now! LocalNet (talk) 13:45, 22 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
