Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 10:03, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I saw your message on the page of an admin, and, although I am not an admin myself, I can tell you straight away that because of the nature of your service(filtering users through your own private server), your service is still considered an open proxy, and therefore will not be unblocked per our above linked policy regarding open proxies.— dαlus Contribs 10:22, 21 October 2009 (UTC) Secondly, you say that abuse can be tracked, I am sorry to say that this is not the case: you may be able to see the IPs who access your server, but we cannot. We have no access to such a header.— dαlus Contribs 10:28, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Lokeshjoshi. I'm an admin who tends to deal with a lot of open proxies around here. BOLT is not generally considered an open proxy, and I'll be happy to unblock it at this time. However I see this IP has been used by open proxies before.[1] You mentioned the originating IP is in the headers: could you take a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs and see if you can help us filter them? If you want to also email me a list of IPs used by BOLT it will also help in the future. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 10:59, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
