Multiple accounts[edit]

This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sockpuppet that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. "I read the policy and it didn't say using more than one account is sockpuppeting". Weeeeelllll ... if that doesn't set the world record for wikilawyering, I can't imagine what would. "(I maybe wrong)" you then say, perhaps suspecting this.

Well ... it is, yes, technically true that there are situations outlined at WP:SOCK where the use of an alt account is permissible, but note first what it says in "in a nutshell" at the top of the page: "The general rule is one editor, one account". Seems pretty clear what we mean. And even given the existence of the other exceptions, I don't think anyone with as many documented socks as you have can possibly lay claim to any of them. — Daniel Case (talk) 19:02, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
