Tip

[edit]

Tip: If you are using several inline references that link to one source in the footnotes, you can economise by using it several times with this syntax for the first time you use it:

<ref name="insert an abbreviation for you ref here">insert your reference and URL here</ref>
and then:
<ref name="insert the abbreviation you chose here"/>
for each time you use it again. For more information how to do this or to use citation templates, please see WP:CITE. Happy editing! --Kudpung (talk) 07:01, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I will try to clean up the references. I have just finished finals.Lost Josephine Minor (talk)

You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --Soundvisions1 (talk) 13:29, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

:With all due respect, I think this template is here in error. I have no idea what this is about and certainly did not upload this file. In fact the file concerns an article on which I have voted for deletion. I would have been fully in favour of deleting the file if it was not copyright or FUR compliant. The only reason I visited the file page was to ckeck on its copyright status, but I cannot recall having edited the page at all, and if I did, it was an error. --Kudpung (talk) 10:19, 26 February 2011 (UTC) Sorry wrong talk page.--Kudpung (talk) 12:47, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just a note

Please stop your disruptive editing.Lost Josephine Minor (talk) 01:34, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In your !vote on Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/My76Strat, you used the edit summary as per discussed[1] - please could you clarify (here would be fine) what you meant by that? Thanks,  Chzz  ►  04:31, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Since the edit is explained in the edit, it does not seem to need to be restated in the edit summary. That is what I meant by as per discussed. ie. "He weighs facts carefully" Hopes this clears things up for youLost Josephine Minor (talk) 04:36, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, thanks.  Chzz  ►  05:45, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Record track quotes

[edit]

Just a quick tip, while I'm here: can you please put titles of single records within quotes, e.g. "[[Why Do I Always Get it Wrong?]]"

..."Why Do I Always Get it Wrong?" was another romantic ballad...

Cheers,  Chzz  ►  06:05, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:First Seven String Patent.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Entirely text, with no foreseeable use in an article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
