The article about you[edit]

I generally agree with Andy's comments on the WP:HELP page about editing your own article; there is a certain amount of paranoia around here about people editing their own articles, but I think that mostly comes from people sneakily editing their own articles. I can't imagine a rational reason you can't identify yourself, point out errors on the talk page, and fix obvious errors yourself. The only caveat is to read the WP:COI page first, to avoid some pitfalls.

If someone tries to prevent you from editing your own article, let me know, and I'll intercede.

That said, it seems like you might be what is known around here as "marginally notable". Sorry for the terminology, it's no offense intended; I, for example, am "completely non-notable". If you would just like your article deleted instead, I can nominate it for deletion at our article deletion discussion page, and we may be able to remove it. There are no guarantees around here, Wikipedia is often an unpredictable place, but usually we give quite a bit of weight to the article subject's wishes if you aren't obviously notable.

Your recent changes to this article have added a lot of useful information which might go some way to supporting this musician's claim to notability. Unfortunately, none of it is supported by citations. Wikipedia requires citations from reliable sources so that facts can be verified. It doesn't take much effort to find sources: for example, a quick google search found this page from a canadian recording company. Inline citations can be easily added to the article like this:

and adding a "references" section to the end of the article like this:

{{reflist}}
