All sources credit the disease as a bacterium, not as a parasite. Please, if you have any source that clarifies your point, place it in the article. I have removed the term "bacterium", and placed "illness" is more descriptive. I told him before that all sources indicate that it is a bacterium, but since he does not want to understand it and does not provide a reliable source, I only deleted that specification.
