November 2014[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Bo Horvat has been reverted.
Your edit here to Bo Horvat was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://raincityhockey.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/bo-horvat.jpg) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 05:44, 5 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Matt Hatch.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Matt Hatch.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rotten regard 22:44, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

February 2015[edit]

We do not change players teams without sources to justify it. I can find no indication of any trade between the Flyers and Canucks or a notation of a player loan that would have sent Archibald to the Philadelphia's system. In fact, the AHL's website still lists him as playing for Utica. Please do not change player teams again unless reliable sources support it. Resolute 16:44, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

May 2015[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Connor McDavid. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Please stop adding future events to articles. NeilN talk to me 18:38, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Connor McDavid shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Connor McDavid. NeilN talk to me 18:43, 11 May 2015 (UTC) He is going to end up there anyway what deffirence does it make.[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

May 2015[edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at Connor McDavid. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Tiptoety talk 18:55, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

From the blocking admin: "If [you] post an unblock request agreeing to cease edit warring and acknowledging [you] understand why [you] were being reverted I am willing to consider unblocking." --NeilN talk to me 19:00, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to be unblocked, i promise i will stop edit warring, i regret my actions. i understand that this is a problem because what i was writing was not true, and it will effect wikipedia users.

You need to add your reason to a template: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} <--- Type that, replacing "Your reason here" with what you wrote above. --NeilN talk to me 00:28, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

September 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Ariana Grande, did not appear constructive and has been undone. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. See Talk:Ariana Grande#Mac Miller. Your edit is against current consensus. General Ization Talk 22:31, 26 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Note: Instead of WP:Edit warring, when you disagree with another editor, join the discussion on the article's Talk page. Often dating relationships are not significant enough to mention in an encyclopedia biography per our guidlines. For more information, please see WP:WEIGHT, WP:BLP and WP:RECENT. -- Ssilvers (talk) 22:52, 26 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Could you explain how my adding the relationship of Ariana Grande and Mac Miller on Ariana Grande's page is not okay. Just a friendly question. (: Lukaneville2012

Hello! Do not post on people's user pages. Always post on Talk pages, and sign your name by adding four tildes, like this: ~~~~ at the end of your posting. Then the software will automatically add your username and the date. If you read Talk:Ariana Grande, you will see the discussions there about whether to include mentions of Grande's relationships. Basically, her relationship with Miller has not lasted long enough to be of significance, although we do already mention Miller in connection with "The Way". Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a celebrity gossip source. -- Ssilvers (talk) 18:49, 27 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, well vice versa on Mac Millers page it shows the relationship? What is the difference. Also sorry for posting on the talk page I did not know. Lukaneville2012 (talk) 21:38, 27 September 2016 (UTC) Lukaneville2012[reply]
