Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Marmot Day, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted (if it hasn't already).

Speedy deletion of Marmot Day[edit]

A tag has been placed on Marmot Day, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion of Covenant Eyes[edit]

A tag has been placed on Covenant Eyes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Marmot Day requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.  ۩ Mask 14:13, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the nice work you did on Accountability software - well referenced, nice work. peterl (talk) 10:46, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 4[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Accountability software, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Church (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 14:30, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Avoiding conflicts of interest[edit]

Hello, LukeGilkerson. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people or things you have written about on Wikipedia, be careful. People close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may make them mistakenly add overly-flattering or overly-disparaging content. So please read our plain and simple conflict of interest guide. Here's a partial summary of its advice:

  • Be transparent about your conflict of interest.
  • Do not edit articles about yourself, your business, or your competitors.
  • Post suggestions and sources on the article's talk page, or create a draft in your user space.
  • Your role is to summarize, inform and reference — not to promote, whitewash, or sell.
  • If writing a draft, write without bias, as if you don't work for the company or personally know the subject.
  • Have us review your draft.
  • Work with us and we'll work with you.

Please read the whole guide. See also our policies Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, Wikipedia:Verifiability, and Wikipedia:Autobiography, which everyone must follow.

Thank you. Unforgettableid (talk) 06:06, 24 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional material[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Covenant Eyes. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Unforgettableid (talk) 06:11, 24 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary with every edit you make. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Cheers, Unforgettableid (talk) 07:03, 24 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

March 2013[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but an edit of yours removed maintenance templates from Covenant Eyes. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Unforgettableid (talk) 03:51, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. This is one offending edit. Unforgettableid (talk) 03:55, 7 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Do not use "sockpuppets" (multiple accounts) on Wikipedia.

Hello, LukeGilkerson, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please remember to disclose these connections. If you sometimes edit while logged out, please add one of the Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Related accounts userboxes to this page or to your user page. Where the userbox requests you to specify a username, specify the IP address which your computer uses while it is logged out of Wikipedia. If you need help in doing this, please contact me on my talk page. Cheers, Unforgettableid (talk) 06:02, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia house style[edit]

Hi LukeGilkerson. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please note the following points about Wikipedia house style. Wikipedia articles are not series of direct quotations. In my experience, Wikipedia articles use direct quotations very sparingly, if at all. I find that Wikipedia articles also tend not to name their sources in-text: they seem to tend to name their sources only in footnotes. When you contribute text to Wikipedia — for example, while writing a userspace draft — please try to conform to Wikipedia house style. Cheers, Unforgettableid (talk) 03:59, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Covenant Eyes for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Covenant Eyes is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Covenant Eyes until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Unforgettableid (talk) 22:27, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Covenant Eyes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Unforgettableid (talk) 05:04, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
