May 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Egghead06. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Alan Curbishley, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Is this how I Speak?

Transfermarkt[edit]

Since most of its content is user-generated, Transfemarkt is not a reliable source. Please do not cite the website in articles, as you did with Gianluca Conte. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 21:56, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As I already explained, Transfermarkt's content is user-generated. Any registered user on Transfermarkt can edit almost everything on the website, meaning it counts a self-published source. It's the same reason, Wikipedia doesn't meet its own reliability standards.
On an unrelated note, please post new comment sections to the bottom of talk pages. Using the "new section" tab at the top of most talk pages will do this for you automatically. Also please sign your comments by typing four tildes ~~~~ after the comment. Doing so will display your username, and the time comment was left, making it easier to tell who said what and when. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 23:22, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
