Hemel Hempstead Jarman Park land originally donated to the town for recreational purposes?[edit]
I must have had some basis for the assertion, but clearly I didn't cite it and I don't remember the source. I will look around. My background issue is that recreational land close to relatively (for Hemel) densely populated working class areas has been developed for commercial purposes and replaced by land that preserves open space amenity in a (relatively) middle class area. This is exacerbated by the way in which some of the Jarman land has been left derelict. <end rant> Folks at 137 (talk) 21:37, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
