Tracey Africa[edit]

Hi, Lukemitchell0406. I trimmed down your article on Tracey Africa a bit (but found another source!). With a subject like this where most of our material comes from a few sources (two interviews and a long profile), it's often better to write a short declarative article describing the subject, rather than anchoring large portions of the article on a summary of a personal journey that may be better told in the cited source. Many biographies do include sections like these where editors summarize sources on a subject's outlook or background or challenges, but for an article which is otherwise very brief it can end up taking up too much weight. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for your work on the article! Adam (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:06, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In your first major addition to this article you wrote "Norman's first sexual encounter unfortunately happened at the early age of five-- she was a rape victim of another man. She felt vandalized and described it as a very personal experience to occur at such a young age., as a 6 year-old". Apart from confusing the ages of 5 and 6, why do you say "another man"? Was a 5 year-old a man? Indeed was a 5 year-old trans girl a man? That phrase is still in the article. Please reconsider it, urgently. Bluegreen (talk) 09:28, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
