RFM Chemmani[edit]

A request for mediation has been filed with the Mediation Committee that lists you as a party. The Mediation Committee requires that all parties listed in a mediation must be notified of the mediation. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Allegations_of_mass_graves_at_Chemmani, and indicate whether you agree or refuse to mediate. If you are unfamiliar with mediation, please refer to Wikipedia:Mediation. There are only seven days for everyone to agree, so please check as soon as possible.

Dont worry about the sock puppet tag[edit]

Please dont over react. In Tamil there is a saying Mirandavan kannuku kandathu ellam peye. These guys see Elalan all the time. First it was watch dog, now it is you. Elalan was a great editor when he lasted so think of it as a great admiration by their behalf. If you want you can post it to ANI because what he is done is vandalism otherwise just let it go for 10 days and remove it yourself. Ciao Taprobanus 00:36, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry yeah , ididnt translte it for you. In our language it means for those who are scared, they see ghots everwhere where there is none. I wonder wha will happen if the real Elalan comes back. ?Taprobanus 13:19, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My RfA ...[edit]

Hi. Thanks for supporting my request for adminship. It was successful and I am now an admin. If I can ever be of help, please let me know. Cheers, Black Falcon (Talk) 06:21, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Lustead,

Firstly, my apologies for the delay in progress on this case, as explained at Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/AMG Chemmani.

I am writing to you because, as a party to this case, your input is required before mediation can begin, to do with an offer by an experienced non-Committee member to mediate. Please see the Parties' agreement to Tariqabjotu's offer section and provide your input, so that this case can progress. Voting will remain open for seven days, and further elaboration is provided at that link.

For the Mediation Committee, Daniel 04:06, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The mediation process, starting with opening statements, has begun on Wikipedia talk:Requests for mediation/AMG Chemmani. If you do not have the page watchlisted, I would recommend you add it to your watchlist when you get the chance. I probably won't be notifying each involved editor at every step, and the talk page should be quite active over the course of the mediation. Thanks again for waiting. -- tariqabjotu 22:52, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RfM for AMG Chemmani[edit]

I'm doing another update for those currently involved in the request for mediation. There are currently three compromises on the table at the moment; your comments on them would be appreciated. You are also welcome to add a compromise of your own and/or continue commenting on the starting points. -- tariqabjotu 05:18, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm providing yet another update on the mediation. A few of the editors recently involved on the mediation page appear to have come to an agreement on one of the compromises. Thus, especially as the pace of the mediation has slowed, I have posted a possible resolution that echoes the sentiment of the quick agreement. Please post a statement of agreement or disagreement to the resolution as soon as you are able, preferably within the next five (or seven) days. If after a reasonable period of time there is a general consensus on the resolution, the request for mediation may be closed (even if a few of the parties have not posted their statements). -- tariqabjotu 17:07, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AFD[edit]

In a recent AFD that you participated we are not sure whether you were voting to Delete or Merge  ? It was not clear in your write up but that's what you are implying I think. Just make it cler please. Thanks Taprobanus 18:32, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RfA thanks[edit]

Just wanted to say thanks for supporting me! Please find your thank you card here, should you wish to see it. I'm honored to have received your support. All the best, ~Eliz81(C) 21:42, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Allegations of State terrorism by Sri Lanka. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Allegations of State terrorism by Sri Lanka. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:20, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Killing of Zohra Shah has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tragic... but WP:NOTNEWS.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. First, sorry for a late reply. Nobody in their right mind should be abusing children or allowed to kill them. I supported you because you were absolutely right in bringing attention to ongoing child abuse in this world. My thanks to you for your efforts for a good cause!!! Ngrewal1 (talk) 17:34, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You are right, child abuse is worst criminal offense and we should abolish it at any cost.Lustead (talk) 01:28, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
